just picked up my classic class op from blokees thanks to you and the giveaway, idk if youll see this or not or the many others ive left but thank you so much, i cant overstate that
I got this and their blitzwing on a legends binge wanting something triple changer and they delivered. Astrotrain just works in all modes they all look nice and transformation is fun, I’m looking to track down the octane to complete the set but they also have what looks to be an evalgalian inspired conehead set in the works which I’m curious on
Right now I’m pretty happy with my g1 and siege Astrotrains. However, as an autistic aerospace engineering student, I might just buy any cool Astrotrain figure I see, and this one looks fantastic
This one looks rad. Don't think I've seen it in detail before. Just the odd image. The transformation looks pretty much fiddle-worthy levels of simple.
Would you count the upcoming Dr. Wu Broadside as another Legends triple changer? Yes it scales with legends if you go by toon scaling, but it's voyager sized and scales with CHUG going by relative toy scaling (that just being all the triple changers being the same height) I'd say a figure like Iron Factory magnus, the newer one, is still a legends fig because despite being voyager height he does NOT scale with anything besides legends, but Broadside is a bit more ambiguous
@DrLockdown I agree, but something about how derpy the figure is just fits the character so we'll. Any chance you've got their autobot triple changers too? (Sandstorm and Springer)
...Was the purple nail polish for this review an intentional choice, by any chance? I should try MFT at some point, this little guy looks utterly delightful and I hear their stuff is good. Though I also gotta try Dr Wu, and now I know they're one and the same!
Technically, you own the Titans Return version as well since you own the Sentinel Prime version of the mold so would you say that the Mech Fans toys' space shuttle mode is better than what that figure has as well?
So, if I understand correctly, people like Mechanic Studios (Dr Wu, whichever) follow the KISS principle; Keep It Simple, Stupid. And frankly, that's how I prefer my Transformers toys; simple, but effective. There's no need to throw in a billion steps and extraneous panels just to adhere to a specific aesthetic. I'd much rather play with the simplistic joy of the original Animated Optimus as opposed to the over-engineered, aesthetically dull mess of Siege Springer.
i agree with siege astrotrain being superior, hes just so fun and awesome looking, btw why does the title say mechanic studio when its mechafanstoys? unless they also call themselves that
I hope you don’t mind me making a chronological order (oldest to newest) Playlist of your videos because i enjoy watching how you’ve improved marathon style~
“The pull out method never works” Dr. lockdown 2024
Am I wrong?
Not at all 😂
He ain't wrong
what a treat two videos in 1 day
I uploaded the last one yesterday on my end
@@DrLockdown yeah, but like me, on his end, it was both in the same day
Yeah it's 1 day for me❤
just picked up my classic class op from blokees thanks to you and the giveaway, idk if youll see this or not or the many others ive left but thank you so much, i cant overstate that
He looks so clean, straightforward to convert, and really lovely in all modes
two videos in a day??? how fortuitous!

That feels like a good scale and size difference
Ive always loved the idea of Astrotrain being bigger

I love their blitzwing included and animated inspired head. I got the black repaint so I can have a version with that head permanently on
@@awesomeguy9513 wait wait wait
They have a what in the works?!?!?! SIGN ME UP
I’ve been wanting to know what you thought of this guy for the last year! So glad you covered him.
2007 Megatron No, I want 2 videos!
such a wounderful figure, i got one and painted the wheels on mine to make him look better
Sweet double whammy
Right now I’m pretty happy with my g1 and siege Astrotrains. However, as an autistic aerospace engineering student, I might just buy any cool Astrotrain figure I see, and this one looks fantastic
honestly the robot mode on this doesn't even look like it transforms
I don't have an Astrotrain. I think this is the one I should get. He just looks like an upgraded G1 figure.
This one looks rad. Don't think I've seen it in detail before. Just the odd image. The transformation looks pretty much fiddle-worthy levels of simple.
“No, I want 2 videos!”
Looks like magic square aesthetic

It would, but that's been announced so long ago with no update that I'm not sure it even exists
Love this guy and thier blitzwing, still got to track down thier Octane though...
Octane is pretty good, but he's probably the weakest of the three.
I should have him out in a couple of days.
@DrLockdown I agree, but something about how derpy the figure is just fits the character so we'll.
Any chance you've got their autobot triple changers too? (Sandstorm and Springer)
@rascallymanx8947 afraid not. I have their first springer, but not V2, nor sandstorm

I should try MFT at some point, this little guy looks utterly delightful and I hear their stuff is good. Though I also gotta try Dr Wu, and now I know they're one and the same!
The colour was not.
@DrLockdown Well it looks gorgeous anyhow, and fits with the subject of the video!
The only problem I have with this is the thruster falling off other than that it's what got me into legends collecting
was that fucking Galaxy Express 999 on the screen at the start?
Eyo what the fuck I genuinely did NOT think anyone would catch that.
Technically, you own the Titans Return version as well since you own the Sentinel Prime version of the mold so would you say that the Mech Fans toys' space shuttle mode is better than what that figure has as well?
Oh easily.

Lockdown face reveal!
fanstoys astrotrain is pretty good, but its one of those over complicated masterpiece designs
yippee
i agree with siege astrotrain being superior, hes just so fun and awesome looking, btw why does the title say mechanic studio when its mechafanstoys? unless they also call themselves that
They're both names the company goes by.
Spitting facts today . Most definitely does not work
Why u say mac fan toys
The company that produced this is called MechFansToys
Why no call fan toys
Because fanstoys is a completely different company
Ploughing tx
*ooooohhhh
Welp time to spend the lost dollars in my wallet :|
