The best looking interior for a Toy Hauler that I have seen. Really great looking living room and kitchen area in a Toy Hauler. Super floor plan. Thanks for sharing JD and appreciate ya.
I dont know why...but I think they did a wonderful job on giving you a seperation between the living quarters and the garage ... this feels somewhat different from other T-haulers .. As always, great vedio JD.
We have very similar flooring and furniture in our 2020 Jayco Pinnacle 36SSWS. If I had changed anything I would have had the front closet rather than the front lounge area. I LOVE the laundry being in the garage!!! If (I mean when) we get another rig, I already said we MUST have a toy hauler so I can have the garage for the laundry, toys and an office for the hubs as he works from home and “talks” for a living.
I have the cyclone and I like the layout in the kitchen I like the windows and the bedroom better I have the movable door in the bathroom in the garage so you can squeeze that little bit bigger toy in and I pull it with a c 4500 GMC and love it
That is a nice trailer but its big brother is the Keystone Fuzion 429. Have you ever seen one? Would really appreciate if you did a video on one. Thanks JD.
Hey JD long-time follower I hope you and your family are safe and well. This particular Raptor I did not like the floor plan or the interior kind of generic looking to me also I thought it would have had at least four slides because of the size but then again I know they're trying to keep it at a certain price point it just didn't have anything that really stood out to me but as always awesome video and I appreciate your time for you bringing them to us you definitely have spoiled me on the higher-end Luxe Brands LOL . Stay safe my brother and keep the videos coming
I literally just seen this rv going down the road today and the crazy thing was the guy was towing it with a ram 2500 short bed the truck looked like it was about to take of into space people just think because the truck can technically tow the weight that it's fine the guy is just one big wind gust or one emergency stop or maneuver from being in a serious crash this is exactly why I have a problem with that just anybody with the money to buy a truck and rv can just tow it without any experience or know how and in some cases never even pulled a trailer before
Last weekend I came across an accident on a cloverleaf where an RV and F250 where on their side. Windy day, and what appeared to be board line enough truck for the unit. Ever since I got into RVing I constantly come across mismatched equipment, improperly setup hitches, and people just flat out not caring to educate themselves on how to do this properly. I think the people who take this hobby and safety seriously are in the minority.
You are coming around to the cable slides. You still need to realize they work well with big and heavy slides. My Open Range is a 2017 and has a 23 CD refrigerator in a long slide and a long and deep slide opposing it. Slided work great after alot of use.
Good Evening My Good Friend Of Big Trucks & Big Trailers & Big RVs & God Bless You & All Of You're Whole Family This Evening From You're Good Friend Timbo White
Great review! I appreciate how you always start with GVRW and capacity specs. Interesting how $100K+ will get you 44’ of trailer but no table to eat a sandwich at.
The inside of this is not designed very nice at all and looks like it was put together with very cheap materials and not too much cupboard and drawer storage for a 44 ft trailer, the living area looks to be very cramped, if you have more than 2 people, I'd pass on this one, it doesn't even have a table to eat at or play cards.
@@crazycanuck2578 he did say that the garage is where the table setup is to eat. I do agree though that there should be another spot other than the garage, regardless if it was tiny.
@@DF-et4gs For me that would be like being in your kitchen at home making a meal but you have to set your table to go and sit and eat in the garage, no thanks, lol
I love pocket doors when available to do so. I see no reason to have two doors into these bathroom, a big waste of space, could increase some storage or space in the bedroom. I agree with others that the bed is too tight against the wall. Living room furniture does not look very comfortable for FTimers, I like the recliners in there and ding in the garage.
If you like this unit, check out a Fuzion 419 if you get a chance! It basically replaced the 417 model witch I currently have but they changed the master bed from a north to south to an east to west. We love our 417 but the 419 is a very well laid out unit!
Just a note on the entrance door handles that keystone uses: RV lock does not make a compatible handle, so you can't upgrade to a remote or key pad lock system
I am not crazy about the kitchen/living room floorplan. The bath floorplans are nice. I guess you give up LR/DR/K space with toy hauler rigs. I do appreciate the cabinets going all the way to the ceiling.
i like that bathroom concept but i feel like they couldve improved upon that if they just made it a pass through they could have made a second full nice bathroom
Unfortunately these manufacturers are still really light on CCC considering most Polaris RZRs with an aftermarket cage and suspension upgrades weigh in excess of 2500 lbs. the 381M is the only toy hauler I’ve seen with nearly 5000 in cargo capacity. I’m sure they’ll keep getting better, but so many people are running down the road overweight and don’t know it.
Bryan Burns I would think the same, don’t have one myself but what I have seen is that some full timers use it as their office for work from home job, check out changing lanes, the have 2 desks and store a motorcycle when traveling
Ah, yet another instance where the "theater seating" can just go die in a fire. Seriously, how hard is it to put that in a decent location if you're going to include it?! It's genuinely like they're just putting it in there to fill space instead of adding something to the layout. This one's pretty easy to salvage though, just put a projector and screen with some headphone jacks by the seating. Like that, someone could watch something or play a game from the theater seating, while the TV is in use or someone's trying to sleep on the couch. Also, I don't understand the dinette & bed on a lift setup. Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed by the engineering and creativity. It just seems like it was something looking for a problem to solve. Realistically, you'd either be using that space as a garage or using it as a room, rather than as one sometimes and the other the rest of the time, at least not on the same trip. The way I see it, one gets a toyhauler either to haul outdoor vehicles or to have a big room that can be purposed for whatever the owner wants. The elevating dinette & bed thing really doesn't fit either of those roles and belongs more in some weird futuristic space-saving apartment design
I get the point of a rig like this is to be out and about, but at night you still come in and want to watch stuff before sleeping, and not a damn manufacturer can get the tv position right, yet to see one get a tv at a perfect 45% angle from both the couch and theater seating. And since they're usually on a swivel anyways, then it can fold out a bit to be aimed directly at the theater seating if no one else is around. This specific unit would be much better off with the theater seating where the couch is and the couch where the theater seating is, then just loose the L piece all together since it doesn't seat an extra person anyways. You would then be able to have relining theater seats and really make it relaxing for 2
A living room where 1 person faces the television and they took out the dinette to include 2 theatre chairs that can’t see the tv and if they recline then you can’t go into the kitchen
I don't know the model number but if you like this floor plan I think you'd like a similar version in the cyclone. My friend has one and I think it's probably one of my favorite toy hauler layouts. I just wish you could shrink it
Nice livingroom but no table to eat off of. Why isn't the kitchen counter level with the sink? Our home and tt have queen beds. Rather have that and space to make the bed
I like the living room setup, it feels separate from the garage. The bath door next to the kitchen is not cool. I would rather only have an entrance from the garage. The loft seemed small for sleeping anyone but younger kiddos. Main bathroom- Only complaint is the two entrance, I would rather have one and more space. I would downgrade to a queen.
This may be a dumb question, but I get how cable-actuated slides retract the slide - but how do they deploy the slide? Is the slide pushed out by springs or gas shocks or something?
Is the main bed on the glide system? I know some main beds will get pushed right on the wall for travel but when the slide is out you can push it over about 8 inches.
It would be perfect if they hadn't wasted the entire kitchen wall on a 1/2 bath and hallway to the garage. you're never roughing it that bad boy, if someone emergently needs a second bathroom just send them to the bathhouse at the full hook-up premium campsite.
Wish list. Nah; BIG DREAMER LIST is more like it. Lol, this is what I want though but need the garage about 2' longer and at least 7'6" tall Great trailer
Do they ever mention how much weight you can put in the garage area? I just never see that figure on the weight plates when you show them on camera. 13' length is big enough for a Slingshot but they're kinda heavy at around 1800#
I appreciate your toy hauler reviews. Im trying to decide if it would be better to get a small fifth wheel and pull an enclosed trailer behind it or just get a toy hauler. Id be limited to about a 30 foot camper so that i could park it on my property. If I tow an enclosed trailer behind the camper, that would give me the ability to park the camper and bring the toys to ghe trail without having to bring the whole camper. On the other hand I'd rather not pull double trailers. Any thoughts on this?
I think you did a really great review. I do not like the inside for a several reasons, biggest one the the dink behind the couch. I know you can try and not spray water but it's going to happen. Not a big fan where they put the theater seating, not a big fan of the sofa. The bedroom I do not like the bed shoved against the wall. This is my opinion only others might really like it and see a different look about it.
I'd rather have a magnetic latch for the bay doors instead of a struts... No cracking my head on the door after ducking under the down to access the contents.
Can anyone comment on the difference between the Raptor line and Fuzion? is it just floor plans or are there significant build quality and component differences? Keystone's materials are terrible at explaining the difference.
After driving 18 wheelers for 27 years this trailer is the last thing I would want to haul around. See you at the National and State Parks maybe? NOT 🤣
This toy hauler is nice ! You should do a attitude toy hauler fifth wheel review ! Please and more toy haulers
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the main bathroom. DRAWERS in the bathroom 😍
The best looking interior for a Toy Hauler that I have seen. Really great looking living room and kitchen area in a Toy Hauler. Super floor plan. Thanks for sharing JD and appreciate ya.
Waiting for someone to chime in and argue they can tow this with their EcoBoost F150 😂😂
Lmao. You need a F450 for this one
Reshard D ehhh, I have a 450 but a 350 DRW would be adequate.
I towed it with my f150 11teen times. It has the super max tow package.
I towed one of these with my Ranger
Nah. Airbags and 5 star tuning and it'll be fine.
6:59 - Going inside
Really like that living room/kitchen area. Typically hate how most toy-haulers are setup here.
This is a very nice toy hauler. I like the garage/ patio. Very nice. I like toy haulers. And fifth wheels.
I dont know why...but I think they did a wonderful job on giving you a seperation between the living quarters and the garage ... this feels somewhat different from other T-haulers ..
As always, great vedio JD.
That’s so nice wow I love the lounge setup and the colours r gorgeous wow
Love your videos. This is very similar to my 2021 keystone fuzion 419. Like my layout inside better. I have the island option. Thanks for all you do
I like the floor plan of this RV and it is so very nice and it would be great for my family to enjoy it so much
Usable space. Good vlog. Really enjoy your channel.

Really nice arrangement and colors. 👍
I have the cyclone and I like the layout in the kitchen I like the windows and the bedroom better I have the movable door in the bathroom in the garage so you can squeeze that little bit bigger toy in and I pull it with a c 4500 GMC and love it
I was just at the RV dealer and the salesman told me a V6 base F150 could tow this no problem.
lol
She put the lime in the coconut I have the same trailer and tow it no problem 70 on the highway with my reg cab 2WD Tacoma.
Did you ask him for some of his drugs?
Love Love Love that lighter interior!!
Same layout of a Voltage I seen and really liked.
This thing is absolutely massive
gamersetc. Why thank you.
I do see a problem with the kitchen sink in such close proximity to the sectional.
Great review. I love toy haulers!!!
That is a nice trailer but its big brother is the Keystone Fuzion 429. Have you ever seen one? Would really appreciate if you did a video on one. Thanks JD.
That’s a monster trailer!
I think they missed an opportunity to put posts and small tables in front of those theater chairs.
My F150 is PERFECT for this!!!!!!!
lol

Everytime he says "Nice" drink.
Not a fan of gas strut for doors. Would much rather have full open magnets. Struts fail over time, magnets dont. Great video JD!
Take it out for a test drive behind the F450.
Literally saw one driving thru sellersburg, indiana today!
I pull this beast with my Nissan Frontier with the super duper tow package. No problem!
Nice living room

This is laid out like the LUXE toy hauler
Looks good on the outside. I’m just not a toy hauler fan. U pay more and get less imo.

Can I tow this with my Chevy s-10? 😂
yes but not my 6500 chevy mid duty duramax
Zander Smith If I can tow this with my reg cab manual trans Tacoma you can haul this no prob in your s10.
RAV 4 or CR V
exactly
Subaru brat.

Do a review on the Reflection 303rls it’s so big and awesome

So it’s just me would review the one that go’s in bed of the truck something that popular
Wouldn’t a toy hauler’s ‘garage’ be a bad place for several bunks given the bad smell that garages almost always have? Or am I missing something?
Bryan Burns I would think the same, don’t have one myself but what I have seen is that some full timers use it as their office for work from home job, check out changing lanes, the have 2 desks and store a motorcycle when traveling

We have a 45 angle in our rig, but it's not a toy hauler. Just a "little" Sierra 3220RL. So far it's been a good layout for our family of 4.
Just curious, if I put 2000 lbs of motorcycles in the back, would that take weight off the tongue weight?
Thanks eh🇨🇦
Yes.
Mike H any idea how much-ish
Yes absolutely, but can also increase sway, mainly with travel trailers
With a triple axle you would be ok
A living room where 1 person faces the television and they took out the dinette to include 2 theatre chairs that can’t see the tv and if they recline then you can’t go into the kitchen
Would love to see travel trailer toy haulers
How long before you start talking about 48, 50 and 53 foot RVs? Are we going to see people doing RV conversions of WABASH semi truck trailers?
What has tainted your view of the cable slide system. I myself and everyone I’ve talk to love this system.have it on our Highmontana 364bh 2019

This must be a fortune
Can a 2020 2500hd srw with bags tow this? Or is a dually necessary?
that rig is beautiful. I want to get it. what truck would you recommend.

What's hilarious is my OR 376FBH has more payload, and its not even a toyhauler! Of course, mine has a GVW of almost 3k less too.
i know you can one for a good price because they left the back door open for three days and it's been raining
Upgraded more intrusive strut vs a better magnet
small table and chairs instead of the theater seating
Debate time Travel trailer's vs toy haulers / five wheelers which is better
Nicer than my house 😔
that half bath door in the kitchen threw me off wayyyy off ....i would have them close that wall ....NO door
Or better yet, put a larger pantry there instead, seems this unit is lacking in storage in that particular area....
@@SurfnTurfdfl yessss that too would work ,that bath in the kitchen grossed me out....
I'd rather have a magnetic latch for the bay doors instead of a struts... No cracking my head on the door after ducking under the down to access the contents.
I'd consider the gas struts on the doors a downgrade since you have to stoop down to use the area
I dont know anywhere in WI, where you could take this in a campground.
Can anyone comment on the difference between the Raptor line and Fuzion? is it just floor plans or are there significant build quality and component differences? Keystone's materials are terrible at explaining the difference.
You might as well get rid of the theatre seating and just put a small dinette there.
That is an option on the 413
After driving 18 wheelers for 27 years this trailer is the last thing I would want to haul around.
See you at the National and State Parks maybe? NOT 🤣
