Actually they roasted way harder if you realize. Also, gotta love people who don't define themselves with the things they own. That's why we know we're talking about the product, not anyone's personality.
I had a friend who’d do this on everything I bought or owned. I know this was a review and not malicious. There’s commenting and there’s negative nitpicking for no reason. I love that your friend is so down to earth. He’s not bothered by all your comments but like he said, his hard earned money went into his decision making and to some extent he enjoys it. Cool guy. I love your reviews.
You can go to a Tesla center and test drive these things - they give you half an hour but you do get a little tour on the computer about how to order - no real pressure.
22:10 Experienced the same in Rivian, when everyone else in the car said "you are imagining it". I am sure there is a frequency only some people are sensitive to.
I got motion sickness watching this video. Hahaha j/k. I owned a `21 M3P for about 1.5 years (liked it a lot) but sold it because everyone hated the way it rides. I watched this because I was curious about whether the CT was any different. It's not!
Silly question: When using the regenerative braking to stop (aka no brake pedal) do the tail lights light to indicate you are slowing down? I've heard people mention not needing to actually hit the brake pedal. It made me curious.
This is a weird video - you spent almost the whole 30 minutes bashing it and then at the very end you were like “eh it wasn’t so bad.” What was the point?
I did watch the whole video and my initial takeaway was that you went into the review with preconceived notions about the truck. From the get-go it felt very sarcastic and had a tone of “look at how bad this is!”, “what the hell is up with that!” It wasn’t the usual objective critique that I enjoy with your other videos. I am by no means a cyber truck enthusiast (I actually canceled my deposit and got a refund when I saw how much the price had increased and all the initial issues), but I feel like if you’re going to label something as a review, you can’t go into it already knowing how you feel. If you do, it’s going to be extremely difficult to separate those ideas and be impartial. Also, as this was a Founder’s edition, I’d be curious to know if trucks that came off the assembly line now are still having these same issues. I know Model 3’s were notorious for their panel gaps and other problems when they first came out, but they’ve worked most of those out over the last few years and the cars have gotten significantly better. You’re definitely entitled to your opinions on it, I guess I just didn’t get the point of the video.
Was the walking dogs the other day & one these abominations start coming towards. Started laughing so hard tears were coming out. The guy (say that loosely) stopped, visibly upset, & asked what I was laughing at-Told him the obvious-you & your clown look ridiculous. Dude was speechless, & left.
Have only watched the first minute (I will go back to the rest) but to me, they look like either a big refrigerator on wheels (which makes me tempted to attach some fridge magnets with kids artwork, family photos, or doctor appointment cards to the outside) or it looks like they saved money on adult designers and just gave an 8 year old a pencil, paper, and a straightedge and said, "Draw a car". Just my thoughts.
DS adnotation about hydropneumatic suspension system was my favourite. Another "feature" that people are crazy about is stear by whire... yep, Infiniti got it like years ago.
@iPhonedo My door handle definition was presumptive and technically speaking opening the cybertruck doors is cleaner then opening regular door handles considering in normal cars you actually have to grab the door handle(which has all the dirt on it,harder to pull with one finger), meanwhile in the cybertruck all you have to do is push (doable with one finger) and you can pull the door from the inner side which is less likely to have dirt on it just like you mentioned, they are keeping dirt out from coming in. Especially if you are okay to have some finger prints on the window, you can definitely pull from the window with 0 dirt. I also used one of them before and i am confident to put it on a test. All due respect ayfondo beyciğim
My camera and drone gears all reside in the frunk. Wish the frunk had something to charge batteries but it’s not so bad charging them inside the center console. Vault cooler with tonneau cover closed keeps groceries cool, and can easily load up with over 40 drinks with ice. The cyber truck bed can fit 6 teenagers, back seat though only having 3 seatbelts can easily squeeze in 4 people, plus driver and passenger it’ll be carrying 12 souls.

When you say "feels very cheap" after you jumped out of your car, it just doesn't feel right. No offense, but it seems biased. I would rather see an unbiased, honest review of this truck from you, without initially trying to criticize it. It has some cons, sure, but it's an amazing vehicle, and it's definitely strange to see a tech reviewer who's reviewed weirder things call it "ugly." I guess your friends have their opinions that affect yours, and that's actually pretty sad to see. I loved the part where you're driving it and trying to get the vehicle, you're focused, so you aren't trying to roast it for no reason, but are genuinely interested in the new experience - that's a genuinely cool part of this video.
Imagine preordering one of these and then paying for one then seeing the owner of the company go full MAGA and the company tanking in popularity and prices
I thank everyone who buys first gen products - looking forward to this being revised - the major problem is that it is so long it barely fits into a normal garage - makes it hard to charge or you need an extension cord.
This video would have worked better if it was a rented truck. The owners take could be a section of the video. As it is, it puts the owners in an awkward position.
That would've been very observational, my friends brought in a ton of real experience, from the toxic new car smell to draining the engine noise with music, from the sun visors to panel gaps getting worse in time, from tesla service can't fix the brake pedal to placement of the window switch. While we were pointing out the obvious they really brought the criticism. This was such an out of the echo chamber kind of video to make and I can't wait to make part 2.
Are you comparing a tiny pool shaped button that literally holds water in it or the gasket that holds the dirt and water that you hold to open the door to a dome (umbrella) shaped door handle?
Farouk used these poor people for an income generating opportunity and did not have the courtesy to even thank them for the use of their car. I see the owner's wife could not take anymore and ditched the video towards the end- good for her.
“Used these poor people for an income generating” is a wild statement since he lives in california and probably had a lot of chances to review it from his tech friends. They are just having fun you do that too buddy
Trend of the year: hate on Cybertruck I mean it's a cool car that is unique. It's very cool looking with some nice features. Is it worth 100k? Probably no. But still love the stainless steel, steering by wire, performance, and the design. Then all of the quality issues is another thing thqt should be sorted on a car in this Level. Also, do all Americans drive nearly 100km/h (60mph) in a neighborhood with People walking beside the road?

Spend $100K, get roasted mercilessly and still friends at the end? That is some friendship.
Actually they roasted way harder if you realize. Also, gotta love people who don't define themselves with the things they own. That's why we know we're talking about the product, not anyone's personality.

Yeah. I felt a little uncomfortable watching the video.
Faruk beyciğim, please continue posting vlogs regularly. Its so fun to see you guys have fun and enjoy your humor :)
"Is that another CyberTruck? Nah, that's just a shopping cart." lmao
You can go to a Tesla center and test drive these things - they give you half an hour but you do get a little tour on the computer about how to order - no real pressure.
Hilarious. I love how you guys showed up ready to roast and didn't let off the pressure. Well done!
22:10 Experienced the same in Rivian, when everyone else in the car said "you are imagining it". I am sure there is a frequency only some people are sensitive to.
Those without hearing loss at that particular frequency. Enjoy it while you have it! 👍🏽
Man, you’ve gone full Turkish in this video. Those gentle knocks on the doors and all the other things. Simply hilarious🤣🤣🤣
That was fun. Been following you for years, was not expecting this to have been shot in my neighborhood adjacent!
That was a fun hang! I remember being so excited for the reveal, then when they drive it out on the stage, I was aghast…. ‘Is this a joke?’
I got motion sickness watching this video. Hahaha j/k. I owned a `21 M3P for about 1.5 years (liked it a lot) but sold it because everyone hated the way it rides. I watched this because I was curious about whether the CT was any different. It's not!
this was so funny 😆

They do
How were the acoustics? The sound reflected in the microphone seems very good. At least standing still.
I love the look of the cybertruck.... I see one in my future once they are version two and second hand. Nice hearing you guy's perspectives though.
This is a weird video - you spent almost the whole 30 minutes bashing it and then at the very end you were like “eh it wasn’t so bad.” What was the point?
They weren't serious abviously but some how you missed that and what they were doing is called 'having fun'.
abviously
And after complaining they drive home on a toyota 😅
They are just trying to cope knowing that they truck sucks but well they just need to justify they are “cool”
Faruk are you ok? I just saw the LA wildfires and was worried about you in your area. Are you both ok?

1971 Citroen DS, that's a sleeper flex right there, not a CyberTruck :D
Really enjoyed watching this
Your friend is so confident not to be offended because he knows that in few years you will buy a Tesla 😂
What’s up with the color of the video? Thought I was watching something from the 80s until I saw the cybertruck.
It looks modern but the design will not last forever like it will easily get old. I still prefer the model 3 design
How does he feel like after the CT explosion 😂
and now they explode?
12 yıldır takip ederim sizi Faruk Beyciğim, bu videoda ilk defa konuşma tarzınızı Larry David'e benzettim valla.
pretty, pretty, pretty… 😆
Was this your first time in a Tesla???
Quite particular friend group you have "if almost every has a Cybertruck".
I got to drive one the other day. This is not a car, it felt like an appliance. Is was soooo cheap on every detail. It was awful to drive.
About to be a lot of really angry Elmostans in the comments section 🤣
I felt the car sick while I was watching it 😵💫
You are complaining about the door handles being dirty and wet like every other car doors opening automatically when you get close by lmaooo
I don’t like the Cybertruck, but this seems incredibly mean spirited
That’s exactly what I thought, too.

Welcome to WA state, where the state is just as ugly as the cars here….lol

what, uhh...what specifically makes it "an amazing vehicle?" :P
@@df98156what car do you drive?
Good color grading!
Thank you kindly!
yes, it doesn't look good but the biggest problem is that everyone thinks you're MAGA.
Put an Apple logo on it and he goes “oh wooww”
Apple would not make this turd
Put an Apple logo on it and he goes “oh unacceptable”
Özlendin abi
You're better than this.
Oh relax. ❤

Kid rock will be doing tours 😂
Imagine your stock making you a millionaire!
How's it feel to be the minority opinion?

Tesla's stock value is at an all-time high.
idk behaviour was a bit obnoxious and cringe and I am not talking about the CT owner.

Ok. So obviously everyone has their opinion on it. I just don’t understand the “wet and dirty” comments. As opposed to what? A door handle? 😂
Are you comparing a tiny pool shaped button that literally holds water in it or the gasket that holds the dirt and water that you hold to open the door to a dome (umbrella) shaped door handle?
I would NEVER support with one cent Elon Musk, N E V E R. We had our time in germany with those guys in germany...no thanks
Lots of Elonglazers in these comments lol
