I am a low spin player with a hook low left as a miss thanks to an aggressive move turning over the ball. I have discovered recently, after testing a mini driver that outperformed my 9 degree full length driver, that increasing my lofts across the board has immensely benefitted my game. I play a 12 degree Wilson Dynapower Carbon set to 11 degrees at 44.5” in length and have had my best driving season so far. I also swapped my 3 wood with a 5 wood and included a 4 hybrid instead of a 3 hybrid and I open the faces. I bent my D9 forged irons 2 degrees flat and 3 degrees weaker and now my low left miss is much better as my carry distances are more consistent.

Over Summer in my home, Brisbane Australia, there is no run. The fairway is too soft. My driver flies 250 metres and stops 18 inches from where it hits the ground. In winter, we dry up and I get another 50 metres because the ground is rock hard.

Hi Jim. I'm getting a full set of Wishon EQ1-NX. I wonder of you have any advice on how to mix the hybrids with the fairway woods. I hit plenty long enough with a smooth swing late release. 39.5 inches from wrist to ground.
