    LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
    Falling down
    Breaking heart
    A growing addiction
    Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
    I’m losing sight of me
    I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
    Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
    Empty room
    Endless rain
    The end of a daydream
    You never call my name
    You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
    I’m waiting for the dawn
    I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
    Falling down
    Breaking heart
    A growing addiction
    Empty room
    Endless rain
    The end of a daydream
    Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
    I’m losing sight of me
    I’m losing sight of you
    I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will…
    You never call my name
    You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
    I’m waiting for the dawn
    I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
    so I can go on

Those dual harmonies put me in such a happy place.

Yes, these women are exceptional and versatile musicians. Remember that Asami used to sing R&B, jazz and soul before she joined Lovebites. And yes, I also think that you’re gonna like “Epilogue” (live); nice vocals and piano. “Edge of the world” is another masterpiece.

I know you'll love Epilogue. Lovebites is so insane. They play so soulful and beautiful sound like E-songs, and play fury and crazy like Winds of Transylvania live and Set the World on Fire live, and brutal sound like Painkiller Judas Priest cover. They are just amazing and incredible. BTW, don't forget to have a box of Kleenex with you when you play Epilogue.

You'll need 2 boxes if you play the acoustic recording of Rising. Just Asami with Miyako on piano.

I like this song. I can listen to it every day. I never get tired of it. Especially the riff of miyako from 4:05 is cool. The epilogue is great, but it's a bit heavy, so it's a song I listen to occasionally.

I told you the "E" songs are a must there is one dude or maybe a couple who are always pushing Holy War after that song has been played like a million times by so many fake reactors, and I try to get them to change it up for crying out loud. I love the progy side of lovebites it really showcases everyone individually and they all shine equally. The last song Epilogue has made many of us ball like big babies as it takes us back to songs like Judas Priest's song Beyond the realms of Death, or Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven, Eagles Hotel California, you'll see such a masterful timeless classic. After that, you will begin to appreciate the rest of their compositions such an amazing and extremely talented band. It really is worth owning all of their EP's and albums I know I do and I love it all. They have songs that have not even been heard of on any social media platforms, except for one reactor who was doing many of the missing songs in audio concept just to show the diversity and versatility of Lovebites. Songs like Mastermind 01 is one of those songs that just kills you with its powerful arrangement Mastermind 01 th-cam.com/video/R04YQKC30Co/w-d-xo.html

Whether or not Holy War has been played a million times by reactors is meaningless when introducing the band to a new reactor. Reactions aren't about us and what we have heard before. Instead they are about what is the best way to introduce Lovebites to a new listener. That particular reactor has not heard Holy War a million times, only we have. So to them they should be presented with a song that best represents the band's talent, sound, and song writing style. Holy War fits those criteria very well. It contains soaring and powerful vocals, a fast and heavy riff from the bass and drum, and two very distinct guitar solos with harmonization - all typical of Lovebites' songs. To introduce the band to them using other songs can misrepresent Lovebites, especially with a song like Epilogue which is VERY unlike any other Lovebites song. If they heard that first it would give them a completely different view of the band and they probably wouldn't think they were a metal band.
When I make recommendations to reactors I usually take the time to look at their channel and try and determine what kind of music they may like based on other stuff they have reacted to in the past and pick out a Lovebites song that I think would appeal to them. Holy War is often the best choice to be honest with you. Sometimes I have recommended a heavier song like Break the Wall or Set the World on Fire, and sometimes I suggest Swan Song. There isn't a set formula, as every new listener is different, but if Holy War works more often then not, then it pretty much becomes the default best choice of a song to do a first reaction to. It is also a video that is on Lovebites official channel.
I welcome any suggestions as to what song you think would be a better choice to go with. Remember, hearing Holy War over and over gets boring - for US. But for them it is the FIRST TIME, so they are likely to get just as excited as we did the first time we heard the song.

@@LovebitesFanForLife you totally misinterpreted my comment I know how amazing holy war and I love it just the same. For you to assume that holly war is the only one yo fit that bogus criteria is basically saying the other 49 song don’t fit and I beg to differ. Back in 2017 and 2018 there was no holy war and people were reacting the song of choice or the suggested one and they got excited just as much if not more. My exact point about the fake reactors is that, yes they check out holy war and that’s it they don’t pursue the journey much further. So don’t come here and try to correct me about how I feel about fake reactors and changing the song of holy war to maybe Shadowmaker, Hammer of Wrath. To me it makes no difference if they play Epilogue, if the reactor is familiar with songs like hotel California or beyond the realms of death how in hell are they not going to know if Epilogue doesn’t have sounds of rock/metal. If they can’t distinguish that then they are of the pop culture. Let’s just say we agree to disagree and leave it at that, as I have said the so called Wolfpack is full of backstabbing dudes who just can’t stand the truth.

Thanks for taking the suggestions to do the "E" trilogy. These three and "Frozen Serenade" established Lovebites as one of the greatest producers of power ballads, ever. Lots of bands can thrash. Very few of them can also turn out beautiful ballads as well. And doing something like this? No one like them.
