@@straus8998 человек кто может починить любую вещь, даже что изгасилась считается мастером. Тем более каторую не где не достанешь. Есть видио они и не такое творят. А колхоз как аы говорите, они всегда сами ремонтируют даже в поле. Это говорит о завести человека к мастеру.
Полировка, термичка, ремонт остальных шеек не показаны. Если их не было - это колхоз.

Welded up cranks is nothing new, been done here in the US for decades. It can be done to fix spun bearing cranks and even in performance applications to add stroke to the engine (welded stroker). I've even heard of it being done on camshafts as well to either repair an untraceable camshaft (no longer made) or to add more material to grind a different profile. The only issue I have with this repair, is there wasn't any (Shown) proper heat treating of the crank after the repair. All cranks need a heat treat to maintain hardness throughout the part, welding, grinding and straightening imparts different hardening's in certain place and that can be catastrophic to the rest of the engine if it fails. At least this crank wasn't broken, so it has a chance of surviving
Thanks, it's about time someone said the same thing I think everyone congratulates this, but nobody knows that if it's not done right there are consequences now it won't break there, but it breaks elsewhere.

Amazing when that crankshaft won't last two weeks, then tear the engine down again to replace the crankshaft that should've been tossed in the junk pile
@@timothygeiger8271 find and old school mechanic and he will tell you that's how is was done in the from 30 to the 50's, 60's and 70's
@@Sigenstroem It was NOT done like that in the 70's here in the US, i went to auto mechanics schooling, trying to weld a crankshaft back together was not done, it was replaced. I don't know about the 30's, that was before my time, actually unlikely any mechanics from back in the 30's is still around, they would be over a hundred years old.

At 11:10 the closeup shot shows grinding marks. It wasn’t polished. The bearing won’t last.

If the journal is round and in size,a tiny low spot like a grind mark or pit will not matter. Is it ideal ?no but it will work and last.
@@daleolson3506, if you find the closeup view you’ll see that there is a pattern of finely spaced annular rings across the width of the journal. It’s rough.
@@mariusmarius9977 , remember, this is third world. They do the best they can with what they have which isn’t much. There’s no O’Reilly’s they can call for a crank kit even if they had the money which the don’t.

Не будет лопнет или даст клина( перкинс дизель ) не удивлюсь если это второй или третий его ремонт таким образом заметьте сколько Закиров на других шейках и никто не шлифовал я не говорю сколько там Брызг от сварки попало и сколько мусора выйдет под вкладыш после пуска

Обыкновенное напыление, очень прочным, твердым сплавом. У нас так же напыляют только на станках. Вкладыши всеравно мягче будут, износ будет на них.
А у них нет выбора. В ситуации, когда работа стоит дёшево, а железо дорого (либо его просто нечем заменить) волей неволей придется заниматься таким - выгибать, подваривать, протачивать. Заменить этот движок все равно нечем.
Колінчастий вал не любить такого. Він не буде довго працювати. Але звитяга майстра захоплює!

Common practice, spray weld is another method and you don't have to deal with slag / inclusions.
The journal would be too small if just ground down, needed to add more metal then grind to final size

для низко оборотистых моторов норм!
@@alibasav нужно учесть что нагрузка на него не маленькая. А сдесь прогрели шейку которая лопнет под нагрузкой с большой вероятностью 🤔. Даже подумал о том что вот так и реставрируют для красоты а потом опять продают как новое и оно ходит не очень то задиры или ломает
@@abdula3754 Да конечно нюансы есть но колено обычно ломает не от нагрузки а от излома (усталости металла) потому что от нагрузки крутит блок и из за несоосности коренных шеек колено постоянно изгибается.
@@alibasav но если учесть в каких условиях это сделано и каким инструментом то это конечно похвально, у нас так со станками не сделают

At a main dealer in the UK that would have been scrapped and the customer offered a repair using a new crank at an horrendous cost.
A new crank but with a warranty. How much life do you think this repaired one has? I'm all for repairing vs scraping but it should be done the right way and on parts that are not as critical as a crankshaft. That's my view anyway.
That because it's cheaper to buy a new crank. not to mention you get a warranty and peace of mind that it won't break into 10 pieces causing even more damage.
