since you said the ratel 90 wasn't bad, you should play the objectively awful ratel version; the ratel 20. it has the same bad mobility as the 90, but with the same weapons as the marder IFV, which doesn't sound bad at first, until you realise you're expected to fight king tigers and jumbo pershings with 7 MILANs and an autocannon that can't even pen a panther's side (day 2)
theres an easier method if you still want to use your right click for something else. Just separate your controls for "fire from main calibre", "secondary guns" and "special guns". Then you can just use one key on "Select secondary weapon" to switch which gun youre firing with the normal key youve set for firing ie left click (You dont even have to set a key for "select primary weapon"). Entirely negating the double shot problem too unless you hold left click while switching.
Alternating fire between the barrels is a pretty good habit, too, since they reload independently. It means that in a pinch you can keep up a pretty fantastic rate of fire, and also means that you should always be able to fire a second shot instantly if your first shot doesn’t do what you need it to. Can’t do that if you’ve already depleted the ammunition for one rifle.
Japan really trolls you at 6.7. You get two of almost the exact same medium tank you just played at 6.3, but now you fight 7.7 with them. You get a near-useless missile carrier that's worse than every other 6.7 missile carrier in every way. Then you get one of the best light vehicles and SPGs in the entire game, and it's an absolute blast, worth playing the lineup by itself.
The ST-As were sooo painful to grind through that I just ditched them all together and just played with the Type 60 and the M41. On the plus side, once you get through them the STB and the Type 74s are really good for the tier.
It's the lack of armor for a "medium" tank for me. Once you get HEAT they aren't bad vehicles because they'er quick, but you're right. Fuck that missile carrier.
@@blank7652 ST-A series does indeed have terrible armor. Only redeeming factor is the long range zoom sights but 90mm HEAT-FS dropoff makes it annoying to snipe with.
Fun fact, the Type 60 SPRG's little turret is supposed to be able to be lowered like in many IRL pictures of it, where it can still traverse and fire albeit with a smaller gun arc.
Don't forget that Recoiless guns like thoses have Machingun for telemeter. The 50 cal have the same velocity as the HEAT, so you can use the machineguns to guess distance.
The accidental double-barrel shots are why I bound LMB to fire primary and RMB to fire secondary. Also makes baiting easier on tanks like the M6, at lets me save my cannon rounds when flying planes that have both MGs and cannon.
Not sure why you're double barreling. I have Mouse 1 set to "Fire from main calibre gun" and Mouse 2 set to "Fire from secondary guns", it always fire one at a time, regardless of the order. You might have Mouse 1 set for both, check your bindings.
spookston is probably using bindings but for swapping/selecting weapons instead of firing from specific weapons. The weapon selecting is helpful with stuff like the M3 Lee tank but spookston really should use the secondary gun keybind for things like this Type 60. I use the side mouse button instead of mouse 2.
You know, there is an option to fire your second gun without selecting it. It's called 'Fire from Secondary Guns,' and if you assign it to anything other than your left mouse button, it will prevent it from firing along with your main weapon.

would love to see some Ostwind gameplay. that thing at 3.3 is a total menace. extremely easy to aim for aircraft and the APHE 1 shots often, amazing all rounder and protects you from CAS

The type 60 compared to other recoilless rifle vehicles has durability of all things. The 3 crew member goes a long way and it is surprising resistant to mg fire.
It's pretty weird for me that I watch your videos considering I have rarely played War Thunder lately, it must be the quality of the videos that keep me here :)

Spook has either forget to unbind left click from secondary or is using the gun switch method, which is still good, but overall slower and leads to double shooting accidents.

The contract is complete. With the Type 60 done, I have a couple other recommendations for Japan. For the light tanks, the Ke-Ni, with the recent buff to it's mobility, it's still kinda crazy. For mediums, the Chi-Ri II, because it's autoloader is goofy, especially on a 150 ace crew, since the autoloader somehow gets faster, as fast as 3.3 seconds, when a high enough tank loader is on crew. For tank destroyers, the Na-To. I don't see many people talk about it, even though it's basically a Chi-To but casemate. Last but not least, AA in the SUB-I-II, because it swims and I played a game recently where I shredded FOUR (4) Panthers because they didn't angle against the SUB-I-II's APDS and got second on the team from it. I also didn't die that match, confusingly enough.

Day 128 You should play a tank with hydropneumatic suspension (recommend the MBT-70) But the catch is you have to drop the suspension as low as it can go for the whole match.
I just finished rewatching the R3 video and was VERY confused about how I hadn't watched this already. Then I saw "uploaded 22 minutes ago" and now I feel silly
I find it wild that this is at 6.7 while the Italian R3 with the same 2 canons is at 8.0. Yes the R3 is faster and has full horizontal rotation, but it doesn’t have as much depression or elevation speed. The R3 should be at a higher br but not 8.0.
As an old japanese main this and the ho ri prototype associated with type 75 SPH on the same lineup is devastating, one of my favorite one, that also work well in arcade even im not an arcade fan its one of the rare line up i enjoy to play in arcade

As someone with like 1400 kills in the R3T106, bind the launchers separately on your left and right mouse keys, it works so much better.
i put the scoped mode on my right mouse key but i do have secondary barrel firing bound to my side mouse key.

The type 60 is so tiny that you can fit it BETWEEN the doubled tracks on the big bucket excavator on that one map.
