Hello John, wonderful to see wolf 3, beautiful puppy. This is going to be a very special build for me... You unboxed this model when your wolf was still with us a year ago and today you begin the build when wolf 3 has come into your life.. What a wonderful thing it is.. The cycle of life. I'll enjoy every moment of this. Take care my friend.
Hey there John… I bet your happy to be back with OcCre!!! Looking forward to the build. We have been waiting a year for me!! Wolf the 4th is going to be a great project manager in training. Looks like he will be on top of things!! Beautiful little puppy. The Hart family will watch him grow!! Amber said hi to you… god bless John. Jerry
Looking forward to the new build as I will be building my own along side you. Little Wolf is gorgeous! He looks keen to become an apprentice ship builder if Buddy allows :)
Hola Juan me alegra ver que tienes un nuevo cachorro es precioso te llenará de alegría seguro. La Candelaria es un barco muy bonito y tú con ese toque tuyo personal harás un gran trabajo como siempre te mando un saludo 🇪🇸
Congratulations John! Wolf IV is delightful, you’re going to have your hands full with a new puppy,…have fun. It’s great to see you happy with your dogs. Looking forward to the new build.
Hello John and a hearty welcome to Wolf IV! He is quite a handsome young fellow. It will take a bit of time for Buddy to warm up to the new family member, so some separation is a good idea. I have been looking forward to La Candaleria bc it is an Occre product. I think Occre, along with Vanguard and Caldercraft are about the best models on the planet. Artesania Latina is now off of my list bc of quality and instruction issues. I will be watching this build with great interest as I have this kit on the shelf waiting to be built. A big thank you from your fellow builders for these tutorials. Have you ever posted any of your builds on Model Ship World? They are a great resource as well.
Hi James!!! He is very cute and at the moment is double the size you have seen :) Yes i agree, if Artesania doesn't change the way they make their current kits i am off too. Buddy and Wolf are separated at the moment to ensure Wolf's well being. We will see in the moths to come if he accepts him or not. No i haven't posted anything there, do you have a link to check it out?
Congratulations on your new build. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Also congratulations on the new addition to your family. What a handsome doggie. Like Buddy he will probably grow up to be 6 feet tall too.😄
Thank you very much Ken!!! I am almost done with La Candelaria and she is very beautiful! Also Wolf is getting bigger by the day :) By Summer time he will be enormous!!!
I'm about to buy this kit. It's going to be my first build. I found the kit on sale. I'll definitely be following along with this series. Looking forward to watching this series of videos. I hope I'm not going in over my head with this for my first build. I look forward to it, regardless.
Hi Tim! Welcome aboard! This is a beautiful hobby, you will enjoy every moment of the build. Just remember 2 things, 1) you have to make mistakes, that how you will learn and 2) wood does forgive mistakes :)
Hi John. Welcome back to the OcCre way. I wanted to suggest something that I have been doing with all my ships. Glue in all of the frames, and then temporarily attach the deck (no glue), and that will hold the frames in the perfect position as the dry. Works great.
What a playful pup. And he is Belgian, even better! Enjoy your new friend. This is a small ship. I guess it is more difficult to make the details and the rigging?
He is my 1st Belgian and he has a strong personality already !!! Not really, she has only 2 masts so it's like a 3 masts ship that is a little bigger but with less rigging.
@@JohnsWoodenShips We Belgians have broken all intruders : the Romans had a very bad time trying to annex us, Napoleon Bonaparte lost his final battle in Waterloo, the first World War stranded the Germans in Ieper, in the second World War the Blitzkrieg in the Ardennen was a big problem for the German troops. So yes, we Belgians have a lot of personality because of our history. Is Wolf IV a Mechelse shepperd?
I do not know if i should laugh or cry. The hull is painted white, this means that we have only one type of wood and it is not sapely. The rubbing strakes and the side of the hull are painted yellow and black. Again one type of wood and make the Santa Ana look like the Victory. Some sapely can be found on the deck in some spots and on the stern. Also a little on the bow. Nothing like the old one, it is like the Endeavour in bigger size and almost 700 euros. The good side of this is that the old Santa Ana gets more value. What a pity...
@@JohnsWoodenShips I've bought the Santa Ana after I contacted Artesania Latina. They said it's the original kit they have just painted it as it was at the battle of Trafalga., The instructions show sapely on the hull . If you go to their website they also have photos of it unpainted.
you gonna need a strong hand for that young rascal , it is called a Groenedaler , one of the 5 sheperd breeds that we have , it will bee a good companion for you when he is older that a year , will give his life for you.
Hi Yves! No method is wrong as long as you can insure that they are vertical placed. I prefer the one you see in the video. The holes are for the wiring :)

He has a strong personality already. He is very different from all the dogs i had and he is very loving :)
i cant find the history of this ship- whats the word on it ?
She was designed and built to work as a floating battery when blockading ports or during sieges of sea forts. That's what i know.

The rigging instructions are not as detailed as some of your videos. It's somewhat frustrating. I'm glad to learn from your videos.
I am glad that you like them, thank you very much!!!
