  • This professional online gamer and TH-camr has built an amazing tiny house for herself with an epic computer and live-streaming set-up! For all those tiny house loving gamers out there, this is definitely a home that will make you swoon!
    There are lots of reasons why people choose to live in tiny homes. One of the biggest advantages though is that it reduces over-head expenses and allows people to follow their passions in life. In todays episode, we meet Nessa, a professional gamer from Germany who built a tiny house on wheels in order to pursue her unusual career.
    Gaming and TH-cam requires quite a bit of equipment and for that reason she had to design her tiny house around the spatial requirements of her computer, gaming equipment and live-streaming set-up for TH-cam.
    Beyond that though, Nessa’s tiny house is completely functional as a home and is incredibly well designed. Here, she has everything that she needs to live and work from home in her chosen profession.
    The entire build of her tiny house on wheels was documented on her own TH-cam channel, which you can find here: / @nessaelessar

    This tiny house is so much more than just a place to live, it's a place which helps to facilitate and enhance Nessa's chosen lifestyle and very unique career! There are so many wonderful features which have been built into that home and I think any of us gamers out there will be super jealous of her set-up! Nessa actually filmed a blog on the day that we came to visit and film her home, so for a behind the scenes look you can check out that video here: th-cam.com/video/KBlLyZuEC3k/w-d-xo.html
    I hope you all enjoy this weeks video! Love Bryce & Rasa

    Y’all realize that it’s actually not abnormal in most countries for children to grow up and stay in the house right? They stay and then when the time comes they take care of their parents when they’re too old to take a shit on their own. And when they have children they do the same! Stop being so bitter and let people enjoy their lives. It’s almost like different countries have different cultures and beliefs. Crazy, I know.

    My daughter is trying to get me to let her build a tiny house in the backyard. I told her when she turns 20 we can talk about it.
    Edit: After reading some of the more inappropriate comments, let me say that I'd let my kids live at home forever it that is what they chose. Also, you have no idea about her personal life and personal struggles. I have a young boy with schizophrenia who will always live at home, and I have a daughter who had a very traumatic experience at 14 and she is afraid of the world. That doesn't mean that he nor she will not be capable of being marginally independent and successful in their own way, it just means I have came to terms with parenting is a full-life job. People, Americans especially, need to get over this 18 is adult and go out and brave the world shit

      usually, if you're in voice chat or in a chat group, English is the language to start with. Most official subreddits or threads are in english, and since you play with people from all over the world, chances are you might have to use english to communicate. As a german, I realized that there are quite a lot of things taken from english or english speaking countries and are just used in a german sentence.. so they become part of the language. ANd after a few years, it feels jsut normal, because everyone got used to those terms.
      For video games specifically, game developers have to censor games like Call of Duta e.g. bc, you can't have third reich symbolism and stuff here. so, if you want the full, unedited version, you have to go with one that maybe doesn't have a german dub.
      with games, chat groups, Netflix, etc. there are so many possibilities to learn the language, it is becoming rare that young germans don't know a single english word. Most of them can at least understand it. Being able to answer and speak coherent sentences, is unfortunately, a different story :D

    I just wanna say as someone who's dipped my toes into indie filmmaking, the production quality of your videos has totally raised the bar for anything I plan on making in the future, as well as raised my standards when watching other alt-living youtube channels, no one else matches up! I had actually dismissed your channel when I saw it in my recommendations for a while because I thought this was a corporate channel making money off the tiny house lifestyle simply because of how clean it was shot and edited (I'm glad I decided to watch a couple of your videos despite that lol). This level of videomaking is one every creator should strive for and it's great seeing the improvements between videos from even this year and last year
    anyway love your work, love what you're doing for visibility on alt-housing, and I hope you all continue to find prosperity with this video model

If you are using a full-frame mirrorless to film with an 'zero distortion lens' like the laowa zero-d 12mm f2.8 should be perfect for this and give you a bit more room to film in these tight spaces, you can look at the bathroom shots on the 'DSLR Video Shooter' channel where he reviews this lens. aniokay I’m sorry they wouldn’t or couldn’t. 💕.
      There are a lot of people that don’t have that support for whatever reasons and that’s sad because It’s a lifestyle that often works for people that don’t have a lot of income coming in to begin with, seems a shame that good people who want to live a healthier freeing sustainable life are stopped from doing that because of the lack of that support/ money.
      I’m always looking for solutions lol. Would be so cool to set up a network of partnership of two people etc, one who has a plan( dream 😁) with a certain budget ( negotiated by the two) and someone who could provide the space to build and some skills on the build ( maybe past experiences in building, woodworking etc).
      I know seems like a dream right lol but there are people out there that care about our environment and are passionate about the world becoming more sustainable and want to lend their skills to help you, who would find it exciting, maybe having a whole church involved a neighborhood or a retired person who needs a project :). Lol.
      I just wish I could help others.

You just KNOW daddy changes the propane. You have to have rich parents to have a "tiny house". What happened to financial independence, personal achievement and responsibility, and work? You can really tell that it’s “her” home there’s something special about building where you live and making it your own. Ive already played with some cheap solar kits, made my own full size platform bed that has two pieces(1/3 as a work bench 2/3 as a dining table/desk) that stand high so I can put storage underneath. I also surf, fly drones, ride motorcycles hence the "toy hauler". Anyways I come back to watching this from time to time to get ideas. Thank you for producing this show!

      Getting help from people is always nice, and that's what humans do. We're social creatures after all..
      I'm just always sceptical about what percentage of work on projects like this is actually done by the person themselves.
      It wouldn't surprise me for instance if she herself in fact did only 1/4th or less of the actual work on this tiny home.
      Which is fine of course, but it does give a different meaning to 'this is MY tiny home'. Labor = money, so if three quarters of it is performed by your parents/friends then can you really call it a tiny home that YOU built?

    I love it when people build their own homes with the help of friends and family. Building your house according to your own needs and taste is the best. Each of us has different needs, it makes no sense that we are still willing to buy massive construction houses designed for fictional families. That practice should be something of the past by this point. We shouldn't have to adapt to a house, the house should adapt to us.

    • @livingbig
      @livingbig  4 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Very well said! Building a house which is custom to your personal needs is essential in making small space design work. It's so exciting to see cases like this where a tiny house is constructed not just as a place to live, but also a way of enhancing a chosen lifestyle.

    • @AmazingAutist
      @AmazingAutist 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mostly agree but the same fictional family is incorrect. There are multiple types of families in different houses are good for different people. My uncle and Aunt have - and I kid you not - 14 kids, including two adopted ones. A tiny house is it going to fit in that extreme situation, not without at least one homicide lol. And even if we are not considering that extreme, different people require more spaces than others. There's nothing wrong with a regular standard house, other than the overpriced mortgage and rent and environmental concerns.
