Hello, Once again, you delivered a highly useful video discussing to what degree one should learn pitch accent based on the current level attained in Japanese. I am happy that you will discuss pitch accent regarding measure words (very tricky) since ALMOST NO MODERN TEXTBOOK does so, One such book published originally in the 1970's, "An Introduction to Modern Japanese" by Mizutani, treats pitch accent and covers it also with measure words. Kudos to all that you do for one to master Japanese pronunciation. I hope you will soon touch upon pitch accent in Japanese surnames (and also first names). If my ears are in good order, I noticed a three-way distinction among HANA [a girls's name with atamadaka accent], HANA [;flower' as the odaka pattern], and HANA ['nose' as the heiban style].
Once again, you are truly appreciated by many. Thank you.

Thank you for watching 😊And you have good ears. Yes, we have 3hanas. About human names, we can read them in various ways. For example, my last name " Soma ", we can read it both atamadaka and heiban. However, popular last names such as 鈴木suzuki, 小林kobayashi, 佐藤satou ...... have its concrete accents. I may make a video about them. Anyway Suzuki/Kobayashi should be read heiban,Satou is Atamadaka.
