After watched this valued video, I's so hurt in the past. That's a popular history for Khmer people as the nationwide. This Video is the greatest,and brilliant message for Cambodian People in whole Country as well as Khmer children and daughter in next generation. Especially and More Everlasting Remembering, Kampuchea Krom Is Khmer and Kampuchea Krom is Khmer's land and Territory .. However, I still believe and believe that kampuchea Krom will be Khmer's land again the near future coming soon.
I have watched this movie but I have not finished it because there are some parts are wrong from the begining. Like the word "Kampuchea Krom" did not exist at that time. The word Khmer Krom just came from the King Sihanouk some where around 1960's . And the names of all provinces came out long after the land went to Vietnam. Etc..
I love King Sihanouk since 1980. he made many things good for us. But he was made the biggest mistake in 1960 to 1979. I proud of him he created this movie for Khmer.
This film was shot in N. Korea I bet and probably with Korean actors too if I am not mistaken. Wow! Somdedge Owe left a lot of memories for us as his children. So long father.

Evidences of Khmer prehistory dated back to 7000 BC were found at Spean Laang site and about 500 BC at Samrong Sen site. You know what, I used to travel by these two sites when I was in Cambodia,but I did not Know there were Khmer prehistoric sites over there,until few a years ago when I read books at the Public libraries here in The US. Funanese was a term that was used by the Chinese which means the Mountain Kingdom. We Khmer called ourselves Nokor Phnom or Water/Land Chenla. Foreign historians doesn't know more than us the native of mainland Southeast Asia.

Most of those small and young kingdoms you said Khmer invaded were in Khmer territories. Panga kingdom started at 9th century,First Thai kingdom called Sukhothai kingdom started in 12th century then Ayutthaya in 13th century. Most parts of Thailand used to belong to Khmer,that's why Thai language,culture and tradition are very similar to Khmer's. Mon kingdom 9th century-1057,was some small groups of peoples called kingdom and they needed to be combined with others to keep peace in the area.
Ahahaa, let me breathe a little ok. Khmer Kingdom region is ranging from east Burma, part of small lower portion of China, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the part of the Malay peninsula. I don't agree with the term Funan because it was Chinese term. Khmer in lower Cambodia are the natives in that regions. Water and Land Chenlas are the same, but Chinese historian wrote what ever they felt that make sense to them. The bottom line is that we are Khmer and native of mainland Southeast Asia.

Evidences of Khmer prehistory dated back to 7000 BC were found at Spean Laang site and about 500 BC at Samrong Sen site. You know what, I used to travel by these two sites when I was in Cambodia,but I did not Know there were Khmer prehistoric sites over there,until few a years ago when I read books at the Public libraries here in The US. Funanese was a term that was used by the Chinese which means the Mountain Kingdom. We Khmer called ourselves Nokor Phnom or Water/Land Chenla. Foreign historians doesn't know more than us the native of mainland Southeast Asia.

Most of those small and young kingdoms you said Khmer invaded were in Khmer territories. Panga kingdom started at 9th century,First Thai kingdom called Sukhothai kingdom started in 12th century then Ayutthaya in 13th century. Most parts of Thailand used to belong to Khmer,that's why Thai language,culture and tradition are very similar to Khmer's.
Mon kingdom 9th century-1057,was some small groups of peoples called kingdom and they needed to be combined with others to keep peace in the area.

I don't agree with the term Funan because it was Chinese term. Khmer in lower Cambodia are the natives in that regions. Water and Land Chenlas are the same, but Chinese historian wrote what ever they felt that make sense to them. The bottom line is that we are Khmer and native of mainland Southeast Asia.
