Heh. Old. I got introduced to D&D while sitting on my pack as part of an Alfpha Increment. One of the guys in my assaultman section had a pamphlet "Chainmail" on him and we scrounged up a pair of six sided dice. Used our note pads we had on us for planning and mapping kill zones to make up some characters and played for hours to cut the stress of wondering when we were going and where we were going to end up. That was the summer of '80.
Glorious song,I just recently discovered them and listened to that album,and thats my favorite song! And that album became one of my all time favorites! The vocals 💜,the music,all of it. So perfect!!! Massive band. I love listening to them while playing World of Warcraft
I know those of who play dawi on the old warhammer online game now called return of reckoning many of us have heard this song an the others an its fired the souls of many a dawi to wield hammer, sword, axe an shield to crush our hated enemy the orcs an gobos.
table top never died, if anything it's had a massive resurgence as people want the connection with others. I've got a few games of 40k and GDF this weekend.
I geeked out SO HARD when I first saw this video. I've been a Warhammer & 40K fan since the ol' tabletop days. I just recently found Space Hulk: Deathwing (Enhanced Ed.) on GOG, so I had to pick it up. I'm now starting a play-thru and will probably do a comparison between the OG and the Enhanced Edition. Great stuff here, brother!🍻
Artists like this song because it reminds me of the days were the medieval days were only thing we have to worry about was little bit of war too much a little bit in sick I rather live in world like that and does things with multiple sicknesses in sore of war
Um, exsqueeze me? Did you just say David Eddings? He's in my top three favourite authors of all time. I have read all his books and one of my favourite books ever is the redemption of althalus, though Sparhawk is right up there in terms of amazing characters. I still want a lochaber axe for my collection because of Sir Bevier.
