I had a vmac underhood and loved it. I rather spend $5000 than be stuck towing a tow behind. Thanks for video.

Looks like a nice and pricey compressor. But is that 30 CFM at 150psi or 30 SCFM (at atmospheric pressure)? It is so seedy when consumer air compressors are sold advertising a given SCFM (atmospheric intake air volume) but that volume is much less at pressure. So a consumer buys a 5 CFM tool and can't figure out why their 10 SCFM consumer compressor can't keep up. And why are commercial compressors so freaking expensive? It's an air compressor! Piston, rings, valves.... But so nice when they work well and quietly.

What’s your thoughts on rotary screw compressors vs piston drive for a service truck? I was told the screw compressors aren’t great in an outdoor/dirty environment. Thanks

Hi my name is Ricardo, I'm the owner of new life Landscaping my great question is if this VMAC gas driven G30 air compressor has enough power to winterizing irrigation system, and what's the difference between the 30 gallons air compressor from harbor freight

I don’t think it’s a fair comparison to compare brands without telling us what models. All competing brands can supply whatever amount of air you need. You just need to buy the appropriate capacity. A 70cfm screw compressor will be very comparable across all competing brands.
Also, 6 hours on the clock hardly deserves a single word of review, especially broken up over several months. I doubt you even got it fully warmed up. I have a few thousand hours on my vanair viper and it still runs like a top. I’ve never had to replace anything except filters. I sandblast granite monuments with mine. So it’s subjected to the very harshest possible environment, operating in temperatures ranging from -10 to 48 degrees C. I watched this video to see what the competition brings in comparison to my vanair, and got nothing from it.
