Choose the right air compressor based on your needs, we discuss why we had to upgrade and lessons learned.
That's right were upgrading from an 80 gallon compressor to an 80 gallon compressor...... Wait what?
That's right the tank size may be the same but that's it, from CFM, to motor size, to an air cooler, to a tank drain, recovery rate, duty cycle and more.
We get into why our sandblasting and powder coat operation was in need of an upgrade once we upgraded our sandblast cabinet and found the next week link.
Things I wish I knew the first time we purchase our air compressor, hopefully this video will help with some decision making for your application.

I used to have a similar champion that was made in 1971. It’s 2 years older than I am and the pump still hasn’t been rebuilt. Worst breakdown was new valve plates a year or so before I got it.
