Really nice feature only thing is the deactivation part. On the highway or on a secondary road I would prefer reverting back to chill after x amount of time back at a steady steady speed or just time base as pressing on the brakes is not always feasible.
Yeah, this could really use a timeout or even better: when you lift the pedal above the set percentage. Kickdown should just be a short burst of performance. If I want a different mode I’d rather just use the button than the pedal.
I always thought this should be a standard safety override feature shipped with every Tesla. If you're trying to avoid an accident by accelerating out of it you don't have time to switch modes. Tesla needs to address this officially.
Thank you, guys! I love this feature and using it on my YLR. The only suggestion is that it would be great if I could also select another steering mode on kickdown. When the car accelerates with full power, the Comfort steering mode I'm using is not accurate enough, and I'd be love if it would switch to Sport.
Super feature, using since day 1 I installed the knob.... Hope we can change the reaction time soon (preferably instantly to sport without the delay). Thanks for the terrific work you are doing guys!
@@vercrj thanks for the great feedback! For now the delay is there even if you switch it from the Tesla UI but we are still trying to find a way to make it instant.
Fantastic! Would like to see the ability to change between ALL modes with Acceleration boost, instead of loosing a mode, allow all modes, chill/standard/sport instant of only 2 at any one time.
Having the ability to change the name of sport, chill and normal mode to whatever you choose would be great. For example: Chill, normal, insane to Chill, sport, ludicrous mode would be great. Or having the ability to change the suspension settings from normal to sport mode would also be appreciated.
@@esanchez5994 Probably not simultaneously since features are not copied/pasted between the S/X and the 3/Y Models, but we will see what can be done with the model 3 in the future. After all, the performance model just came out in Europe, so we only had a little time to play with it. :)
I have this on and its set to default 95%, which should be almost flooring it, yet for me it activates way sooner. Feels like even less than halfway. I have not tried setting to 100 yet. Also, is there a way to debug it somehow?
Also, our OG dashboard has a graphic that shows you at what % your accelerator has been pressed. We get this info straight from your Tesla so whatever the app shows, that is what your Tesla thinks that has been done to the accelerator. Please check it and give us some feedback :)

@@EnhanceAuto-S3XY_Gadgets thanks a lot. Looking forward to seeing if my use case results in an additional setting from you guys :) .. In addition to that: The car has "offroad/traction mode" where the acc. pedal response is a lot less progressive, I would call it linear compared to stock which has like 80% of the effect between 30-50% pushing the acc. pedal down. It is the primary reason for me to use chill mode and workaround using kick-down with S3XY-controller. Do you think it is possible to replicate a linear acc. pedal response with a push botton action? I know that I can trigger off road mode with a button, but it also sets both motors as 100% active while in this mode, which is not the desired outcome. Thanks in advance for considering this request :)

Guys, If possible, please add an action to disable/enable "Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance" or automation. It is overreacting on crossing the line and it is waking my son. It can be useful but 99% of the time is annoying

It is a great suggestion, but unfortunately, we still cannot control the steering wheel mode :(

Some of the options are hard to make, but suspension control for the model S/X is coming later this year 🙂

And I love it, ❤
Glad to hear it ❤️
Will it work in M3P 2024 if fex I want to drive in standard all the time and for kick-down would it be able to change to Insane mode?
Hi there. The kickdown on the model 3 performance 2024 will switch between Chill and Insane.

It is already implemented with update 4.8.1

Great, would that also work for a model 3 boosted ? So drive in standard and press 95% throttle and it jumps to sport?
Hi. For now it’s only chill to standard/sport , but we will see if we can make it from Standard into Sport as well 🙂
I´d love for it to have a setting to go back to chill when lifting your foot off the accelerator pedal).
