Anyone can signup and create a free Revolut account but the company also offer paid subscriptions that include additional benefits such as increased limits on free ATM withdrawals, 1% cashback, travel insurance and much much more!
The app itself comes across as modern and is defentily one of the most well-designed fintech apps that I've tried so far. Everything just naturally falls in place and you can quickly find what you're looking for, even though you are not that tech-savvy.

Traditional banks have too much fees and poor benefits. The only thing I still like at traditional banks are some of the mutual funds.

Customer service is shocking if the app goes wrong or you lose your device, 15 days and counting to get a positive response to unfreeze my card as the app doesn't work properly on desktop and can't access chat to speak to customer services. Alternative method of using feedback email or speaking to revolut via social media has become a nightmare as nobody seems to take my situation seriously. When it works revolut is great, when you can't access the app which if you go online and check out the hundreds of disgruntled customers banging their heads up against a brick wall trying to reach out for a customer service agent and to wait 2 weeks or more for them to perform a simple fix like unfreezing your card after simply trying to load your phone credit and subsequently being locked out from accessing your funds. Imagine being on holiday and you break or lose your phone, you'd be up a certain creek without a paddle.

The fact that they don’t even care how they are impacting you, the extra costs related to failing your payments or the people who depende on the money line your family. They are a scam. #RevolutSam
Hello! if i want to use the card in France, do I simply add the money in GBP (I'm a UK resident) or do I add money in euros? Or does revolut automatically change GBP to EUROS when making a payment via card?

Remember it's not recognised as a bank, so your money is not save in the worst case. At least in the UK.

Hi, when choosing a Plus, Premium or Metal plan, do you have to pay for the whole year even if it is a monthly plan? Or can you just stop your plan whenever you want?
Either…you save for paying annually.
This is not true
at least not in The Netherlands. You are bound to a whole year. If you pay monthly, this applies as well, but you will be able to buy out for 2 times the fee + the fee for the month you are cancelling
Be careful. I got charged 15 euros for "early termination fees" when I cancelled my premium plan (useless thing) after 5 months.

I'm from UK and going to Spain for a holiday, I currently have standard free plan. Should I convert X amount of gbp to euros beforehand and spending in Spain will automatically deduct from this pot? Or should I simply keep it as gbp and spend using card and it will automatically exchange?
Keep it as GBP, on card purchases there's 0% fees Monday to Friday and only 0.5% on weekends. That's only 50p per 100 pounds you spend.

I am UNABLE to log in to my Revolut account. I have lost my password. So I press "I lost my password". No instructions! A suggestion sounds right: "Why do I have to verify my identity?" Jogging around I end sitting in front of the login sign. I can press "I lost my password" again. As if I suddenly had remebered it.
There is a verification function sending a temporary code to my phone to verify I am me. No reset of password.... When I am back to the Password page, I still have not remembered my password.
There is not any way I can make a new password. There is no contact point at their website, so TH-cam is my channel.

Revolut is really bad for transaction, they have big problem and bad service when you got a issue. Many people have they transaction block for months with no help. Its a good bank for traveling with small money. After that i dont recommended it. I have been using it for 5 years with metal card. Lots of issue and no service.

I think he's talking about a sign up problem that I also have.... I put my phone number in and the app sends me a six digit code... however once you try to enter it the app takes you to the login page where a 4 digit code is required..... they are probably loosing a lot of potential customers right now because of this.
