This timing is unbelievable. Just started with PARA method yesterday, thanks for this video! It also happened when I watched the workflow one and then search for note taking
I used PARA + other folders: Wiki, reflections, compass, Journals Wiki: the imprtant info i save after consuming info books, articles, podcasts,...etc (let's say i save an article in resources? Then i read it and extract the most significant info and save them into atomic notes in my wiki). Reflections: for what resonated with me from what i've consumed.. (let's say for the same article i note down my own reflections and afterthoughts about it here) Compass is my compass.. this is where i save everything that would direct how i should live my life.. where i save notes about me, my aspirations, what's important.. etc.
Good summary, thanks! I haven't read Tiago's book yet but it's up next. For now, I settled on a variation of PARA with the addition of an "ideas" directory: PARIA I like the idea of somewhere to store raw zettelkasten-style ideas, but I also need somewhere to put task based notes. I also found that trying to decide on subdirectories is a waste of my time, I'd rather just put them all in my PARIA directories and search them with telescope.

In sync with my searching! I was seeking for a take-notes method, and found it. Thanks man!
Glad I could help!
3:15 He mistakenly put Areas again. He corrects this later to Archive around 8:40.
