(0:29) I felt the exact same way coming out of the theatre as a kid. Hopefully the next movie is much better. They can do a lot with CGI these days, but they need to focus on story, and hopefully this time it takes place on Eternia
@jacobstoner208 Yeah, I think many of us as kids were disappointed and confused with the character designs at the time with that movie. We were used to the colorful simple muscle figures in the vintage toy line. But now that I'm older, I can appreciate alternative figure designs like these movie figures in the Masterverse series. My favorites will always be the vintage inspired looks first, like the Classics and Origins did or doing. Hopefully, the new Masters of the Universe coming out will be much better with all the CGI , as you mentioned. Thanks for watching 👍
@JurassicRod Thanks for checking out the review. Yeah, the few Masterverse Movies figures out now look pretty cool. I want to see Blade, Saurod, and Man-At-Arms👍
@@Themanchlid I like the Classics Blade, Saurod and Karg but would be nice to get them with more accurate builds in Masterverse. They were all a bit too buff in Classics.
@JurassicRod Yeah, the Classics have that vintage inspired bulky design that feels nastalgic going back to those 80s figures or the Origins. But with much better looks, size, and articulation for the day. The Masterverse does have much better articulation and pinless joints over the Classics. I love both lines! I also hope to see all those other movie figures come out for the Masterverse series.
Sweet looking figure! His armor really does look good and fills him out. Great idea to use the orange origins beast man. I love the MOTU movie. I know it was mostly panned, but as a kid it was a dream come true. I'm so glad they are making these figures. I'm also glad they are slowly bringing them out, because I need to save up for them. All the best!
Thanks for checking out this review and sharing your positive thoughts on this figure. They really did a nice job on his design and armor details. It looks somewhat accurate to the movie. I also remember seeing that movie as a kid and being super excited at the time and then a little disappointed later because it didn't feel or look like the Toys or Filmation cartoon as far as the designs of the characters. But decades later, I have a different appreciation and understanding of why the movie was created like that, and then. I'm also glad the Masterverse is now putting out those movie inspired figures.
I was really impressed with the overall look and feel of this movie Beast Man Figure. I also hope they do a Skelegod! Thanks for checking out the review brother 👍

Hi bro, I was never a fan of the motu movie and to this day I still can't stand it lol. But I love Masterverse and they did a great job with this one. The figure looks great and looks exactly how Beastman looked in the movie. Maybe that's why they didn't use a beefier upper buck or else they would've had the problem they had with classics with a bunch of figures where they put armors over an already beefy buck, making them look too chunky. Great review as always!
@omisokaomisokas5095 Hey, thanks for stopping in already, bro! Yeah, I was never a fan of the movie for the reasons I mentioned going back to a kid. I think it has a popular cult following now, and many collectors really want more movie based figures in the Masterverse series and even Origins line at some point. I think they did a great job on this Masterverse Beast Man with the head sculpt, armor, and size. He can definitely move and articulate a little better than the Classics and Other Masterverse Beastman figures.
I was never a fan of this iteration of Beast Man because, as you said, he looks nothing like the traditional version. That being said, it’s a decent-looking figure, but not really something I would need unless I was trying to complete this line. I definitely get more Grizzlor vibes from this character design, so it didn’t surprise me that you used the Origins figure to get that grizzled hairy look. It does work pretty well! I do appreciate that Mattel is giving the 1987 movie some love, even if it didn’t go over that big with many of the fans back in the day. I will say the movie has grown on me a bit more over the years, especially considering my wife actually really liked the movie. Now if they were to give us a Lubic figure…that might be something worth owning! 😂 ~Damon
@@FandomEntanglement Hey Damon, Thanks for stopping in to check out this Movie Beast Man Review! I totally see a Grizzlor inspiration with this Beast Man Design as well as the Star Wars Chewy character and Teen wolf all mixed together. Maybe that's the look they were going for at the time for a Movie Beast Man character because those other iconic wolf looking 80s characters were popular and the movie also went with a darker tone compared to the filmation or vintage toy line. Grizzlor was also very dark looking compared to the Origins toy Beast Man. So I kind of understand the reasons for this Design choice now that I'm older. I also like to see variants of those Core characters figures. So I think this Beast Man works well as an alternative variant figure. I'm glad to see the Masterverse pushing these movie figures out. I also started to appreciate that 1987 He-man movie more. Again I look at it as,an alternative universe with those iconic fan favorite characters and story but as variants!
Great review as always. Very nice figure have him coming from bbts. Movie Blade is coming to masterverse. Lots of good reveals at sdcc. Cartoon collection and new enternia. Rio blast and modulok for the vintage line. I think mattel are releasing another new enternia beast man. The snake lair looks disappointing, won't be backing it. Rather get the vintage fright zone.

Think of it as a Subscriber giveaway. I have done this for a few other people in the past. I don't talk about it for attention on my channel. It makes me happy to help certain people out if I can. I don't want anything in return! You can contact me at pieukrhabap@gmail.com for private address details if you would like. I can probably ship out today with Ups and send you a tracking number by that email or to the email you contacted me with. Also, let me know if you want to sign for it or just have it dropped off! Let me know if you're interested 👍
