Hmm, I'd say it took about 2 months of doing at least a few hours a night. Composing the strings and vocal harmonies took the longest but were the most rewarding parts. When I had finished there was close to 80 layers of sounds! I was preparing for PonyconAU at the time. That caused some delay as well.

I've been working on a part for an exciting project with some musicians and artists that I'm sure most of you have heard of. This one should be worth the wait. Also there are other original's and collaborations that I am working on right now. Its hard to say which will be completed first but rest assured, more music is on the way!
i was 9 years old listening to this on my ipod when it was first uploaded. this fandom really influenced me and i’m really happy i got to experience it. i stopped watching the show after season 5, but i do miss it a lot. i’m glad i was able to remember this remix and listen to it after so many years

I've always loved hearing Princess Candice sing "This day was going to be perfect." and find myself replaying the last thirty seconds of the song. Thank you, you truly have God given talent.
I adore how this ends...the way she sings those last lines its like she had finally lost all hope...and was dying off inside and out. It gave me chills ;w;
Imagination just went nuts.. can so see a huge ballroom scene.. the orchestra in the back playing while Cadance and Chrysalis in disguise keep switching through with Shining Armor, each trying to dance with him, and Chrysalis' disguise shimmering every so often for dramatic effect as she danced with him, before Cadance manages to pull him back to dance again.
I think that destroys a lot of opportunities for the changeling to create mischief and/or grow stronger. In my opinion, changelings can become whatever pony they want, to an extent. For example, a normal changeling couldn't turn into a powerful princess, but Chrysalis certainly could.
