BMW G80 M3 REMUS RACE EXHAUST | The Most Intoxicating G8X Exhaust

  • 2023 BMW G80 M3 REMUS FULL RACE EXHAUST. In this video I highlight the system, design changes over OEM and showcase various sound clips outside the car, inside the car and drive by and cruising. All videos were filmed with the Iphone 14 Pro Max no external audio recorder or microphones used and we barely were able to capture the RAW and Intense deep sound this gives to the G80 M3 S58. This is one of the loudest most aggressive exhausts for the G8X platform. If you stand near the car you can feel it in your chest how powerful the tone emitted it's totally insane and one of the loudest cars I ever owned but refined enough to daily drive still and enjoy.The car now has a very raw personality and I love it.You MUST Delete ASD for this system to be enjoyable since it's so extreme. There are no exhaust fumes at idle or when driving due to the removal of the secondary cats. The drone zone is 2nd gear between 2200-2800 RPM so to eliminate that do not drive in the zone in the wrong gear plain and simple. For anyone interested in this system please visit our website and send your inquiry we are importing them directly from Austria on a per order basis. I have spent a considerable amount of time researching a proper exhaust for the G80 M3 and this one in my opinion sounds the best, most aggressive and one of the hardest to get. These come with a 2 year warranty and are hand made in Austria. REMUS is the largest exhaust manufacture in the world and they dyno and sound tune these systems in a $12 million dollar sound room. I would never install a cheap Alibaba exhaust on my car but a majority of owners still do as most aftermarket brands are relabeling exhausts from China. The REMUS RACE is the choice I made for my 2023 BMW M3 however this exhaust may not be suited for most due to it's extreme nature and volume. It all depends what you are looking for and there are an abundance of choices today, this happens to be what I picked and I absolutely Love It. Any questions please contact us directly.

    @c6manny ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice comprehensive video. As you mentioned, you did your research and listened to a lot of other setups. It seems you got the sound you were after, but can you share why you feel this system wouldn’t benefit from an H, X or single pipe in the mid section for a smoother sound/tone?
    Your car does sound nice and aggressive. A perfect setup for my taste would be a single Midpipe paired with this Remus race axle back. 👍🏼

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I looked at all the systems on the market and it seems every company does things a bit different, some feel the single midpipe is best other feel single equal length it all depends. I think most brands do these things to separate themselves from a very competitive market for exhausts on these cars.If you read the forums and vendors it can be very biased pointing to making sales rather than real performance gains. The one thing I dislike is most aftermarket systems do not increase pipe diameter so how can it gain more power in the long run Considering the resources REMUS has I kinda trusted their development on this one. When I watched SCHMEE150 video on his car last year I knew this is what I wanted.

      the QV was broken far too many times i discussed this in detail in my prior M3 videos. with lack of support from the dealers and the corporation i just could not take it anymore. the M3 is an awesome driving daily driver and the manual RWD spec is why i did it. it is more fun than the QV to drive with the manual and way louder on the exhaust end, the QV is awesome but having a broken car 80% of the time is not worth owning anymore and it was time to move on for the time being.

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark did your 18 have electrical issues? My car suffered the water intrusion problem from the front cowl 3 years ago and the car was never the same. I would hit the throttle at 80mph the car would just shut off loose power and have to drift off onto the shoulder. Hit bumps and the car would die. Every day it rained the car would be dead or have dash faults and limp mode. It was getting out of control. The day prior to me buying the M3 the ABS failed in the pouring rain, always bad situations when it rained with my QV and the car jumped the curb and almost went head on into a tree this is when I said enough is enough it has to go before further depreciation settled in i did the deal at the perfect time. My 21 QV was excellent and felt much better built so I hope yours is going to be trouble free. Few guys with 21-22 have told me their fuel pumps went bad and they got stuck but it might have been isolated incidents. I just bought a 2023 Stelvio Veloce to replace my tired 19 Stelvio Ti Sport.

    • @markrichards5944
      @markrichards5944 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi first limp home problem occurred during thunderstorm and dealer put it down to strike on carbon fibre roof overloading electrics which blew out abs window wipers motor and cost £2300 to repair £1700 for diagnostics !! The history of the car was little suspicious and this combined with ongoing electrical problems on monthly basis and smell of sulphur on hard acceleration - gut feeling to move it on - 21 seems so much better so far (5 months in) - there is a big problem here in the UK too re dealer support - I will see how it goes but my experience with bmw service and support was like as you say night and day - thanks again

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks for also sharing sounds like your 18 was an issue just like mine and maybe water was the culprit. I wish they had better dealer support globally because everyone complains who I speak with. In 4.5 years of doing Alfa content i have spoken to thousands of owners all over the globe. For some strange reason nobody seems to have big issues with the Stelvio 2.0 or the Giulia 2.0 it always seems to be the Giulia QV that suffer most electrical issues and I wish I understood why this is the case.

      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      that is total nonsense everyone talks about on forums all from small vendors pushing those parts I think i trust the largest exhaust company to design a system properly from the ground up in a 12 million dollar dyno room to acoustically tune their exhaust and also following BMW M original design layout instead of following and chasing trends from small time vendors. I had a guy come with a full Active Autowerke system with downpipes on his M4 and he was BLOWN away how much better my car sounded and it just shows you videos can not truly capture the sound of these systems. Revving up both cars you could not even hear his M4 side by side that is how overpowering and deep the REMUS Race system is.

    Never been a fan of now the S58 sounds. I admire the effort to try to get the sound right by importing exactly what you want. It’s the only real downside to this car. The setup here sounds OK in my opinion. Of course all of the competition 6 cylinders sound better, but they lack in driving dynamics.

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      in person this car sound wicked it is not for the faint thats for sure but this is what I wanted since the car was so refined and quiet bone stock now the resonance comes into the pedals and seat and makes the car feel alive, 1000% better in person than the video reveals

    The drone was awful when I had the Remus race exhaust. A mid pipe and stock muffler was the answer

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว

      the drone is because you did not FULLy delete Active Sound Design i had the same issue the first few days and realized how awful the ASD amplified and drives you crazy in the cabin. Once I fully deleted it by coding it out with Bimmercode Test Flight its freaking awesome now and I daily drive this without any issues.

    • @autofanaticcars

      turning it off and fully deleting the programming is quite different but this exhaust is not for everyone it is extreme and unless you have owned cars with extreme exhausts before this is not the choice to go for. I have been daily driving it for months and have zero complaints from passengers or myself but i also own and always own very loud performance cars so I am used to this.

      @autofanaticcars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      this really isn't raspy it is so deep and loud but the Iphone can not capture it. read the comments on those valvetronic videos of that car they altered the sound in editing lots of guys on the net know about that by now that is why it sounds different. That car also had a different midpipe that was never sold to the public so combined with all that those videos are not accurate at all of their system on these cars.
