You can clearly tell the arm had spooked WALL-E into mishandling that gun arm, so it’s the mechanics fault, not his. WALL-E might be naive and careless, but he is somewhat balmesless.
@@rmgilyard I never said it was WALL-Es fault the gun went off I literally said that because the arm moved and scared him is why it fired I was just saying how it was funny the fact eve moved slowly was more or less acknowledging that she knew that'd happen and thus I was just wondering if that's why eve is so trigger happy early on if just surprise in general just automatically fires the gun
@@rmgilyard yeah something like that the way I saw it is just any form of surprise at least involving that kind of weapon results in an immediate attack in that direction regardless of what it is. Personally I'd like to know the lore behind it id like to think they've probably lost lots of other probes because perhaps they weren't more willing to shoot first ask questions later and thus they were destroyed when they didn't shoot something they should've most likely because they can't tell the difference between something theoretically hostile or passive they just set the default to anything surprising to just be shot for good measure that's my theory anyways
