Why, without him, The Captain would never have become curious about Earth; the humans would have never experienced life, M-O would never have found friendship, and EVE would never have become the sweet robot she is. He is truly a noble hero.

You know, at 1:51, I’m pretty sure that’s one of the only scenes where WALL-E actually says something (like an actual word) besides EVA/EVE. Apparently, he whispers to himself “Pathetic.” in that scene.
I’m a grown ass 25 year old man, but ending where he lost his memory but then got it back and shared a moment with EVE was so wholesome that I _almost_ did shed a tear (and that’s a VERY difficult feat to pull off because I’m pretty much soulless when it comes to movies lol) Oh, and WALL-E is so freaking cute omg!
I love how there are like four instances of EVE saying "WALL-E" in the exact same excited/concerned dialect. At the same time, I suppose it makes sense for a robot to have certain phrases archived.
In addition, Eve says "Plant!" repeatedly as well as a handful of other words. She also says "Who are you?" at the start when they first meet. It's distorted and hard to understand, but subtitles are helpful.
There will be absolutely no point in us as a species advancing our technology to the level shown in this movie if our robots aren't as adorable as WALL-E and EVE.
You forgot when Mo shouted "Wall-e" in the background when he and the reject robots caught up to Eve and Wall-e after the Axiom went back to Earth and Mo shoos the other robots away in the background after Wall-e regained his memories and he and Eve were having a moment.
The only time WALL-E says Eve's name correctly is before he dies in the trash scene. Either that or he's only saying the first part of her name bc he's too tired to say the rest. Either option makes me existentially sad
WALL-E is one of those movies that honestly gets better as you get older because then you can truly appreciate the things you missed when you watched it earlier, especially the visual storytelling. But then at the same time the humor is really good, too. Not only do I think this is one of the greatest animated movies (my personal favorite animated movie), I think this is one of the greatest movies period!
