This Island tour in Krabi takes you to 4 Islands, but let me make some recommendations. Depending on low tide that day start with Thale Waek sandbar as early as possible. Go to Ko Poda Island before 9:30am as that is when the first group tours arrive. As soon as the tours begin to arrive leave the main beach go to the cove (hidden beach) on the opposite side of Ko Poda. Finally don't forget to end your trip on the beautiful Ko Kai beach where there were absolutely no boats. Lastly, skip over Railay beach as you can visit that beach anytime by taking a ferry (even spend the night there).

Krabi is famous for its scenic view and breathtaking Beaches and Islands. Its coral reef vistas are also one of the world's most beautiful, which makes the city a great spot for coral diving.

I loved all the Island Hopping tours from Ao Nang: (Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Koh Tup and Railey); Hong Island Tours and Phi Phi Island Tours. The beach on Chicken Island has to be done on a private boat - I did go there myself as well and it is really nice but most tourists who do this tour will only see the Chicken Island from the sea instead of going to the beach. In my opinion, better island tours in Ao Nang than in Phuket
If you have to choose only 1 would you do Railay or Phi Phi? (I've done Maya bay + Phi Phi, I have family coming and if we don't get time for both I'd like an opinion on which is better/ which you preferred )
@@estleentjie8062 That is a very tricky one to choose. I would choose Phi Phi Don personally but Railey is amazing. If you haven't done Railey but done Phi Phi, I would do Railey (West Railey, Ton Sai Beach and Phra Nang Beach) but with family I think Phi Phi Don would be more suitable. Other than that, stay at either Ao Nang or Phuket. If you stay at Ao Nang, you can do a day in Railey and do a day trip to Phi Phi (which is a bit closer than it is from Phuket)

@augustus warren I actually did my trips through the hotels I was staying in Ao Nang but there are many places along the Ao Nang Beach Road that will definitely do tours for families at competitive prices so you won't have any problems

Pretty sick place to have to yourself! I heard really mixed reviews before Covid. Obviously it’s beautiful but people were saying it was so crowded and extraordinarily touristy. Hopefully Thailand can find sustainable tourism from being shut down so long!

1:44 wrong. you can get dropped off to the other Riley beach and walk here. and its a really nice walk. i have done that myself. maybe the boat operator lied to you. but there are public sharing long tail boats that ply from the other main Railey beach and people just walk to this one.
