Just so you guys know, cvs2 parries are 4 frames to do rather than 8frames like 3rd strike
They're 10 frames in both games (with the EO version increasing the window to 12 frames). They're harder here simply because normals are a lot faster in CvS2.
@@mariodoccia6129 Yeah, parrying in CvS2 is essentially predicting when your opponent will attack even more so than it usually is, attacks are just so fast and snappy

Live for the CVS2 Content. As soon as I saw P-Groove and Rugal I knew exactly who it was.
3:46 - Biggest thing holding parry back in this game is mostly just the meter situation. They're always meter-starved 'cause it takes so long to build a bar.
EO buffed it by letting P-Groove super cancel specials like in 3S, which gave them some crazy confirms and damage.
If I remember currently, you couldn't cancel special moves into supers on P-Groove like you could in S-F III runs. As of matter of fact, you couldn't cancel it at all. That was another reason why the groove was the lease used..
P-Ruga in México means "Prohibido jugar con Rugal"
parry is fun in the game you need to be somewhat accurate
Partying in CVS2 requires more precise timing than in SF3. I think it has to with the less fluid frames of the Alpha Sprites😊

I love that Justin loves going to Japan and playing the old and new heads that have totally changed the game. In all the big cities they still have tournaments for all the old classics. I know there are less arcades but the passion still burns strong in Japan.

Hey Justin I recommend playing a small game called "Kakuge Yaro" it's a game where you make your own character and can have a grappler with zoning tools, all fast light attacks etc. And as a veteran FG player I think you'll love it

I know P Groove was buffed in EO, one of the biggest buffs being you could cancel specials into supers. I wonder, if P Groove was originally like the buffed version would it compete with K Groove.

Justin's matches are always amazing to watch, but I swear it seems to me he's handicapping himself by using this Street-only team in CvS2 (i don't even know if they're high or low tier, but c'mon, embrace the crossover lol)
From what I know, most of the high tiers are Capcom characters and Sagat is often considered top 1. If you watch clips of high level Fightcade matches almost every team has a Sagat on it
He's not handicapping himself bro, quite the opposite lol. If anything the Japanese player is the one handicapped.
@@SaroShadow Sagat, Bison and Blanka might be the top three in this game. Although some Japanese guy destroyed everyone with his Yamazaki in this year's EVO (he also had Bison and Blanka in his team just to make sure lol).

Parry in this is way harder to execute than in 3s… especially if the connection is off
Several reasons why Capcom eventually got the nickname "Crapcom". & them doing C🆚SNK 2 dirty is the S tier reason why. Before dropping this, they made a legit P-S 3 version Cap🆚Mar 2. Meaning you could officially play it online(Which wasn't done on their P-S Two version). Yet intentionally gave of the PlayStation II version of Cap🆚SNK 2 for the P-S 3, just so it wouldn't do as good as C🆚M Two. It didn't even have an online option...😒

Yeah P groove is definitely a High Risk High Reward groove to pick. Definitely not for casual gamers
I hope CAPCOM will include CVS2 EO, the fixed and superior version of the game, in their futur CVS collection.

I forget, does C Groove have counter rolls? or was that N Groove?
I know that was a strat against Hibiki to stop her B+B combo but... yeah a good keepaway Hibiki and especially with P Groove is massively difficult to get in on.
N Groove is the one with the counter rolls. C Groove only has Alpha Counters.
I'll never get tired of seeing cvs2 content.

the parry mechanism should be a button or a combination of two buttons or something ! in essence it s the same thing as focus attack
It's perfect tied to forward and down forward. It means you can't block and must commit; there's risk and reward.
I too played CVS2 on PS2. I didn't realize how bad that version was, at the time.
