The swaping hair colors with Cleo could have been a way of her realizing that shes not Snow White's daughter but actually the evil Queen's daughter if they were going to do this which is possible with all the hints in the books and show. The hair color being a big deal, I interpreted that at first as older generation stubbornness of wanting to perserve the fairy tales word for word but if the switched theory is true it goes deeper than that. Especially with the whole adoption question, which is odd cuz the evil queen doesn't seem the type to make jokes.
And only the writers know the full plot of the lost movie there's the first bit story boards on TH-cam and some concept art running around but they never released the plot details. I know this could happen especially after the series ended. When Jane by design canceled the writers gave a basic version overview of what they had planned.
Im not sure about Darling as I kinda feel like Frankie and Briar are parallels, due to the fact that they are both super friendly and outgoing, but also are both very mentally weak and socially awkward at times, they both also love to experience new things and live to the fullest. Also I’m so confused as to why Frankie and Briar aren’t included in the Feary Tales movie, as Frankie is literally the main character of Mosnter High and the face of the brand, and Briar is a fan favourite of Ever After High and definitely a favourite of the company..? Loved this video thought! This theory is incredible!

To be honest I never really thought that because cerise isn't a werewolf ages just half human half wold and the werewolves in g1 monster high were not half human they just had a human body and hairstyle the rest is all wolf features
Can we talk about how Apple's name could be a reference to Raven and Apple swapping places and it's just a reference to the fact that the apple is a curse?
I enjoyed your explanations of the theories. They make a lot of sense. However I have other theories about it.
First that the kingdom of spades and the kingdom of clovers (clubs) have been separated from wonderland. I mean why are there only the red hearts kingdom and the white diamonds kingdom in wonderland?
Second that Raven is the lost queen of spades, and Ashlynn is the lost queen of clovers. And therefore Dexter and Hunter are their kings.
Third the poison apple comes from placing a spade inside a heart.
Fourth there is another snow white story. That being snow white and rose red. The snow white in this story does have blonde hair. It also has a parallel to wonderland too. Because it describes that the girls who are sisters were named after the 2 rose bushes in the garden, one being white and the other being red. It makes ne think of the part in the wonderland story where the card soldiers are painting the white roses red.
I’m glad that me and sister were the only one who freaked out about this once we’ve learned all the parallel. Not to mention that is that in the 3DS game, Monster High new ghoul in school…. Ever after high is mentioned in game to be a TV show. That everyone at school is obsessed with watching characters. They want to go home kick back and watch episode Ever After High. Interesting it could be just the game trying to put marketing for the other project. It definitely is, but it would been so fun if you ever after high game where the characters say Monster High the TV show that they all like watching. That would’ve been a good concept rebel or royal path. And then if you beat both, perhaps you get to a rebel path.
Love the similarities! I always felt like Sepctra and Blondie were similar and Ghoulia and Briar.
Okay so I do like the paralels you made but I do think there are some others that can be made so I'll make those:
Maddie and Twyla- eccentric outcasts
Abbey and Cerise/Raven- misunderstood
Cleo and Raven- Have "suspicious" power and plotlines related to it like Cleo's school banned totems and potions as well as Raven's dark magic
Scarah and Cedar- Telepathy and "only speaking the truth"
Briar and Holt- Are viewed as just party people but there's more to them and they have to deal with a lot
Courtly and Torelei- troublemakers who are given second chances
Cupid and Frankie- the new kid who wants love, but can never have it for themselves
I think the writers not talking about the lost movie besides the few story boards and concept art is kind of annoying. They could tell us or sell the script if allowed for copyright reasons.
But Monster high just got a new generation so that would probably be confusing for some so we wont ever know if Apple and Raven were swapped.
It was Snow White who turned out to have blonde hair in Dragon Games. But...
...in the historical versions of Snow White that pre-date censorship by the IRL Grimms, the Evil Queen is Snow White's biological mother. If we assume this was true once upon a time, then Apple is a descendant of an Evil Queen because she and Raven are biological relatives going back generations, but not because they were switched at birth in the last generation. The myth that the original EQ and SW were step-family stops people from questioning the Legacy system, because they don't have to wonder why the EQ always has a good descendant if evil is _always_ passed down.
I don't believe in the switched at birth theory as is, and I like to think that Apple and Raven are just who they are because of how they chose to respond to their environment, but you've 100% convinced me about the parallels. I don't think they're 1:1, because Ashlynn also parallels Draculaura and Cedar also parallels Frankie; the writers figured out what storylines and dynamics worked and probably used them better in Ever After High.

I would also find it super interesting if when swapping powers back whether that be in the lake or whatever else, what if raven got apples powers and apple got ravens. With the powers being put back where they belong

I remember in the books it’s said that Raven looks a lot like her mom like on Legacy Day when she is putting on her mother’s outfit and looks at herself in the mirror she looks exactly like her mom so that kind of disproves the swapped at birth theory even though I wanted to believe it :(

18:00 you missed the most obvious mirror parallel being when cupid transfers from monster high to ever after high. She passes through a mirror to get there so what if mirrors (similar to what folklore says about mirrors in our world) are portals to other realms 😮
I loved your Raven Is Snow’s Daughter and Apple and The EQ’s Daughter. And I love this theory I loved Spotting the little Monster high and EAH references in each. I loved this parallel theory. 14:21 Also There’s a shipping Between Frankie and Cleo in G3. 19:29 I hade that Dress as a kid from an EBay Doll bag or something. 30:27 I think Lagoona and Gil are parallels to Ashlynn and Hunter Respectively. Like The G1 one version, Cause Gil and Lagoona were forbidden to Date just like Hunter and Ashlynn were. And I think their personality are kinda the same.

I love this theory. And the swapped at birth grew on me once I realized how funny it would be if it's true.
The reason why would be because whoever swapped the girls is basically saying that Apple is more like Snow White in the sense that they appear nice but have a mean side. And that Raven and Evil Queen appear mean but have a soft side.
Obviously it's less noticeable for the adults since they are able to hide the sides that would ruin the black and white mindset everybody has.
Whereas with Raven and Apple struggle with it since they have strong opinions. Especially at the beginning of the series.
If Apple had been revealed as Evil Queen's bio daughter in the series, it would be kinda funny to see how Apple reacts. Would she still be feel the same way about "following her destiny?"
Idk if she would. I feel like she would be horrified and reluctantly follow the destiny so she wouldn't look like a hypocrite but she would definitely be unhappy. While Raven would be more or less okay with not being the exact same way as Snow White and she'd still rebel while staying true to her selfless kind nature 😅

i also fr have a question how are some of the characters in eah not related thooo...
i’ve seen some videos trying to explain this; they usually go along the lines of the characters in the fairytales not necessarily reproducing with the one they’re destined to be with. i’m not really sure, that’s just the one i see making the most sense. sometimes characters are related though, such as briar and rosabella being cousins
