Hi. Stunning! The colour , the design of the clock and the small mouse all turned out awesome. It would be a great new years card. Put the year numbers at the bottom. Enjoy your day. Tfs.Sherry 🇨🇦.
Absolutley lovely and such a clever use of the cogs. Happy Birthday on the outside and Time to Celebrate! inside come to mind....or reversed would work, too. Such a delightful bit of my day, watching you create; I look forward to it every day and seeing what you come up with. Thank you !
Given some sort of strange items to make a card with, you did a "timeless" job in creating a fabulous card. Of course the cute "little mouse" at the bottom of the clock is a great focal point !
I don't know why but I keep thinking Happy Retirement for a sentiment. It is a wonderful card, and the mouse is so cute. This month is just going too fast. Thanks for sharing.
My goodness! Where to start with my comment. (Sorry for the long ones!) So many incredible things going on; starting with the lovely images on the packaging. So adorable! Then there are the dyes themselves; each so detailed often in such tiny, delicate shapes. Very unique! Now toss in your own creative thoughts and planning into each day's project. Absolutely love the guilding wax, which - after being buffed - delivered that perfect mettalic look! If that's someone's handmade guilding wax, I really hope they work on marketting it as it is georgous! Great job everyone!
lovely. You picked just the right sentiment. I love vintage style cards, would think this would look good too if mounted on kraft card or cream cardstock. I must have picked up a ton of cream card on sale in Alexander's paper suppliers wee craft outlet one day, as I have 2 shelves worth of it, lol. I think I was using a lot of their copper and bronze etc. pearlescent paper and card at the time. I loved how they asked crafters what size card and colours we actually used the most. I miss it. I just noticed you are a Stokie ! My youngest is too. I was worship leader at the Apostolic church in Tunstall for 12 years. We lived in Norton before my health meant we had to come back home to Scotland.
Great card! Who would have thought that a few small cogs would lead to this card?! I know your personal style is CAS cards, but I love that you are adventurous and try new things when the mood hits you! That bronze gilding wax is fabulous. Thank you for sharing! 🩷
Steam punk type…..would be good in an art journal, wheels/cogs in my head. Ha!! I just saw a video I think Papertrey Ink with clock products. Clocks are no longer my friends….they need to go away at age 30. Hehe. You are wayyyy more creative than I. I liked the fast forward ASMR too. Gorgeous creation.
Wowza. I'm always amazed at what you come up with for each day. I have that clock in a Sizzix Tim Holtz steel rule die (Timekeeper). It's a bit large but I love it. At least now, I have a fair idea how to use those cogs. I always think of steampunk when I see cogs. Hope you had a lovely day today. Yesterday was Japan and my last package arrived earlier than they said so I've got ALL my wrapping done. (One of the benefits of having to ship presents instead of knowing you have until Christmas Eve. Although I'd love it if they were here.) Looking forward to the next surprise.
It was a lovely day today, clear and cold! Great lunch, good company with the girls. Lots of lovely things to look at in the market, but didn’t buy too much!😊
A clever idea to add the clock face as well as the added cogs on the kraft background Chrissie, and with that sweet little mouse ready to run up it I think...lol. I notice you added the 'Zzzzzz' and the sentiment..that mouse is obviously sleeping on the job...lol. x
It happens to us all I'm sure. I do have one of those mono sand erasers which does work fairly well, but would not be so good for this card with its less smooth surface. x
Getting read to go to Essex for the holidays and hopefully will have time to catch up. I never know what to do with dies, this is a great idea, why have l never thought of coggs and clocks it makes so much sense, thanks so much for this great card.🎉
Oh seeing this size you could actually get a clock mechanism (Amazon have them) and using an old frame (without the glass) and make a real clock. Love the design of this card, you need to now check out the other gilding waxes from Paul and see if they work as well as this bronze does as it is so great. As too the cogs as long as they bite/slot into each other with a central one for the hands it will be ok. No one is going to go count each prong and do the maths.
Thanks Chris. I love your clock full of cogs and the little mouse just brought it together. This advent calendar is going by so fast but I am enjoying it very much. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Very cleaver. I have that clock too but never use it as its so big. Your idea has made me think new years cards, clock striking midnight, maybe some Cork tops flying I the air with sparkles🎉🍾🫧
I'm impressed by your imagination. I don't think I would have gotten a card together of any gears. You are absolutely incredible 👍👌👏
You are very kind!😊😊😊

My pleasure 😊😊😊

Thanks so much! 😊 that’s so good to know
Hello Christine. C et vraiment bien d avoir associer engrenages avec l horloge. Et la souris est la cerise sur la carte. 👏👏👋👋👋
La souris est mignon n’est ce pas!🤣🤣🤣
The mouse is adorable and if I didn't know better I would be certain the clock was made of old metal! Well done. PS. The ZZZZZZZ are a great touch.
Thanks, they were actually to cover a tiny spot of ink!🤣

Thank you so much!😊😊😊
Lovely clever card! "Time flies" would be a good sentiment. ❤
Yes! Thank you!
Hickory Dickory Dock comes to mind when you said about the Mouse 🐁🐁
Lovely card Christian

It’s all good fun isn’t it!😊😊😊
That certainly is a fantastic card. Jenny ❤😊

Yes it was home made or should I say handmade gilding wax. I’ve never seen commercially produced bronze gilding wax so it’s particularly special!
Great idea for a card, the cogs are pretty difficult unless you're planning steampunk as a design so the clock was spot on as was your sentiment.👍
Thank you! 😊

I went to school in Tunstall, sadly my grammar school was demolished some years ago!
Gorgeous card! I really like that gilding paste💕
Me too!! It’s a really authentic effect!-

Your imagination is amazing!! I would not think of those dies like you did!!
It was fun 😊
The dies in this year's calendar have been wonderful and have provided such fantastic scope. Thanks for sharing. 👏👏
My pleasure… I totally agree 😊😊😊
😊 never thought of clocks. Always thought gears were masculine or grunge. A new perspective thanks ❤
You’re welcome 😊
And another one down. You did a lovely job for not being mixed media artist. Very classy to the grunge and steampunk you normally see with cogs!! ❤️
I’m not a great lover of grunge!🤣🤣🤣
I agree with Brenda. Such a wonderful variety of dies this year. You have produced another creative card. Thanks Christine ❤
They have been awesome haven’t they!😊😊😊

Great card Christine reminds me of the nursery rhyme hickory, dickory, dock. 😁
Love that!😊😊😊

Sounds a bit technical for me. But I’m glad you liked the card!
Good for New Years clock countdown.
