Wow, the vellum is beautiful. Everytime i use embossing powder successfully, i feel that same excitement i felt the first time. At 64 not much does that anymore lol. Thanks for another stunner Christine. ✌️❤️🇨🇦 Lisa
More beautiful use of Vellum and the gold embossed leaves with them in white on the reverse looks beautiful, and the thickly embossed gold frame with the leaves impressed into it before it hardens adds that extra bit of interest as well as the vellum flowers and leaves with a bit of gold wax and pearl centres added to coordinate with the rest of the card, and they look lovely down the side of the frame. This is so elegant and the gold embossed sentiment strip is the perfect finishing touch. x
Beautiful card! So special. I’ve seen the double stamping technique before but had forgotten about it. I have never seen the technique of pressing the molten embossing powder into a stamp to make an impression. Brilliant! Also loved the tip using alcohol to remove the stray marks. Lots of info in this video. Thanks for sharing. 💜
Beautiful and I was cheering for the plain flowers from afar! Thanks for the tip for removing spots as I'm very good at getting them on my finished card..... This video really took me back as my first card was double sided vellum after watching one of your videos. I loved it and still do. Thank you.
Really pretty, and an understated, stylish design. Love how the surrounding card is left completely unembellished. Less is definitely more in this case!
YT just showed me your channel this morning with this video 😊 such a gorgeous outcome with the double stamping technique you showed us ❤ Such a stunning result ❤ Thank you for sharing ❤️ And i promptly subscribed 😊 for more of your great techniques 😊 Hope you have a lovely day 😊
This is such a pretty card, I would hate to give it away but I could always make 5 and then I would share. Thanks for you tips and tricks and have a good day
Hi Christine. I just love watching you and going thro your thought process with you. Beautiful card I love it. Thanks as always your videos are very much appreciated and I always learn something after crafting for about 30 plus years Take care
Take exception to it!!!! Never! This is absolutely glorious Chris. I love the technique, love the oval, love the embossing into the oval, love the plain blooms, love the thought processes and choices. The Sentiment is perfect. A High Distinction from me. Thank you so much. 🏆
Such a beautiful card! My day was off and running, hair, groceries and an errand for my daughter. Sitting after dinner enjoying your creativity. I voted plain flowers and keeps the focus more refined. I always lean to script stamps for sentiments. You are helping me think out of my box! Just lovely!❤❤❤
Interesting stamping idea on the vellum. Very pretty finished project, but I quite liked the White stamping you did first on the vellum, with a subtle/pale grey or blue underneath, then maybe the Gold Oval with the little Gold vellum flowers to accent. Anyway the card turned out quite Elegant. Good job!
Beautiful card Christine, thank you. I couldn’t have used such a small piece of that lovely embossing. Would have wanted to show it all off but yours was very elegant!
So very beautiful and elegant!! Just want you to know that I appreciate the time you spend with us!! Showing how to make it and also how to fix something. We all have been there and done that!!
Thankyou so much for this, a really special card for a special person. You have such a soothing, easy to listen to voice, I love it when you make it work, very realistic👍😃😃 you are a fabulous teacher!
Oh, l love this card. Mine never look that good even when I've copied you every step 😂 its a magnificent birthday card, l think it would make an amazing wedding card as well. Ive never seen the triple embossing then pressing the stamp into it, its dtunning. Im going to be trying that. Thank you. X
Another bobby dazzler as my dad used to say, so effective. If you put a second oval piece inside you would be able to see the panel from both sides like a window. Thanks for inspiration.🌟🌟
Absolutely Brilliant and I am so appreciative of the many tips you shared throughout your video! Always one of my favorites, even though I rarely comment.
Oh Christine, I remember this stamp and it was used with Pink distress ink which is spritzed with water after, leaving this fuzzy set of pink petals. I love what you are doing with the stamp. As always your techniques are 😍
What a fabulous technique. I love the double stamping. The white makes the leaves look as though they have frost on them. Very crisp and fresh. Lovely card as well. Thank you for showing us a new technique that we can have fun with. - Dawn 🌅🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
GORGEOUS!!! I love this elegant card. 🥰 And I picked up a few tips along the way (stamping the embossed oval and removing the flecks). Never too old to learn. 😉 Some of my most complimented cards were two-sided stamping - everyone loves it! Many, many thanks for all the inspiration you provide! 🩷
@@Chrissieannie I had seen the original two-sided embossing video while you were away on a trip and made at least 4 different cards that they LOVED. I can't wait to see what I'll discover from your older videos when you go on this next trip! 🩷
Hello Christine. J aime cette technique et l idée de marquer le cadre doré avec le tampon est excellente . On dirait un cadre ou un miroir d un château. 👏👏👏👋👋👋🏰
I think this is a beautiful card Christine…one that will be a favorite..loved watching your thought process …the alcohol trick is a great hint. Thank you for a great video..🥰
Even if we are at mid of the first month of this year, I wish you much health and a ton of joy in return of what you give us in every single of your videos! You are on top of my favourites crafters and I hope to be able to replicate your technique tomorrow. Thank you for all the tips.
I loved seeing the stamping into layers of embossing powders. I started using this technique over 20 years ago and I still love the effect so much xx I demonstrated it at the NEC at the Creative Crafts show and people were so impressed ❤ xxx
Lovely . Love the double embossed vellum . Looks great and I’d forgotten about that technique . Would make a beautiful golden wedding anniversary card .
Oh my goodness, Chris, this is absolutely stunning! It doesn't take a large piece of the design, either, to make such a gorgeous impact. I have everything on hand, so I'm going to have a play! This will make a lovely anniversary card! Oooooh, thanks for the exciting and useful tutorial. From Cheryl in AZ
I haven't seen the embossing on both sides before or pressing a rubber stamp onto hot embossing powder. I loved the effect of both and will be trying them out at some point.
1st off, lovely card! I also love the variety of techniques shown going into it, as I so appreciate your commentary not only in understanding the thought process, but those wonderful tips of things we should watch out for. Yes, I for one also appreciate the "flubs" or fails, as these things happen to everyone. Often there are ways to mitigate damage, but then there are those rare total flops! As Staci out in California USA likes to say as she's attempting a new technique, "It is only paper!" I know no one likes seeing something flop, but how do you learn if you don't try!
