Badass God bless Dusty Hills got an unused ticket from 79 or 80 finally got to see you with Dan Fogerty what a concert in my bucket list so very much!!!!!!!!!!
Saw ZZ Top in the 80s Eliminator Tour Las Cruces NM ... still one of the top 5 concerts I've been to! And as a bonus I got yelled at all the next day by my Platoon Sergeant for saying "Huh?" everytime he tried talking to me...
@@Klaxet austin hanks plays the "bass" ...his guitar pickups have an octaver (or pitch shift) function, similar a ehx pitch fork pedal. but i am curious why He is not playing a real bass? 😉
@@rogerYT69Sounded nothing like Dusty's lowdown driving bass. Ain't no electrickery can replace his unique and brilliant bass lines. A lot of people mistakenly think Dusty's bass lines were pretty easy. . . until they try to play them without dropping a beat.
@@zwastiunburzy3688 yes, dusty was an incredible Bass player ...Nothing beats a real bass. Austin is a cool dude but the Bass Thing is a bit irritating for me 😉
What happened to the bass guitar? For the loving memory of Mr Dusty Hill, say it ain't so Rev! It ain't no La Grange without that driving low end that Dusty so eloquently and thunderously brang! Sorry Rev, and I just know I'm probably gonna get a lotta hate for this one, but it's a big fat nope from me! RIP Dusty Hill, the Master of Lowdown Mayhem.
@@Johngonefishin From what another reply said, apparently it's a normal guitar but with an octave effect which drops it a whole octave. As I said to that guy, I don't get how that would work, because it'd just sound like a guitar tuned an octave lower, not a bass guitar tuned to the same tuning as the guitar.
Hab ich in Köln gesehen wenn man genau hin hört gibt es wie in Köln keine Bass Drum und keinen Bass zuhören , wer macht da so einen schlechten Sound wahrscheinlich der am Mixer. 😭

Complete setlist, total time of playing, date and special notes
who plays the bass? backing tracks?
I was thinking the same question, it is almost like they running bass backing track.

Love Billy, but that drum sound gets on my nerves quickly. Bang bang bang, bash bash bash no sense of dynamics.
Yep, and sure makes you appreciate Frank's easy sounding shuffle!
He hits a little harder. That was the first thing I noticed.
Teach the drummer this song. Please

Looks and sounds like Austin Hanks is playing a lefty 6-string bass........plenty of low end and drive with that set-up.

@@readbetweenthelineslll1635 Dead right. No bass, no boom.
Bass - Austin Hanks
Drums - John Douglas
@@readbetweenthelineslll1635That's for the band sake. They're mic'd anyway. You are hearing them through a pa.

Bassista???? mah
So -- rhythm guitar instead of a bass ?
I love it but would but the bass or whatever it is hes using / has no spark
I still have the first original LP, do you realize how cool this is for me? Omfghsht....lol fk
They are fake, just imitating blues musicians
How old are you? Billy Gibbons has been playing the Blues since 1961.
@@cavscout62 I am 150 years young. Listen to the originals and you will understand how fake these are
