I am hoping to sell journals and digitals fairly soon, you are not late to the party at all 😊😊. As far as tutorials go I’m not really set up for that, and there are so many people who already do such a great job at it but if there is something that I do that isn’t out there I would definitely do that for you guys.
She got tired of making them because they are all the same and all the orders came in at the same time of the year - October- which made her really stressed all through the holidays. Then no more orders came in for months. So she got frustrated. It’s to bad because there are still people that want them. I feel like if she just made them and put them out there as she made them people would buy but she does that and puts them on eBay and they sell for over $2000. She just did that, which is great for her but terrible for the rest of us that could never buy one at that price. So I am hoping to be able to make something that people can afford that is nice but it will not be anywhere near the book that this is.
This is a magnificent book of spells! I'm actually a witch, and I'm always looking for inspiration for my own book of shadows, and this is one of the most beautiful replicas I've seen! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Stephanie, welcome and I am glad you are here :) I found junk journaling 2 years ago after my kitty died and i found i couldn't sleep because he was with me every night and I missed him. i started looking at youtube and found junk journaling when I researched how to make journals. I also found that nobody was making them in the style of practical magic and i thought that i could try that and maybe sell them. Just about that time my husband got transferred and we started moving from CT to NH. then covid broke out and the move took much longer than we thought because we were suddenly in competition with people who were buying houses in our price range with cash! Well we finally found a house, we are moved in and I am finally hoping to get started making those journals, maybe sell a few.
as for my practice, i learned about wicca in the late 90s when so many my age did. It really resonated with me and i found a local group and started working with them. they didnt turn out to be very good people (be careful who you trust!) but through them I did find some other wonderful people and i am still friends with them. unfortunately we have moved apart and cant get together anymore, but now that I have a house in NH I am hoping to work in my garden in the spring and hopefully work with herbs. Imbolg is one of the sabbats that i connect with the most and Hestia is my favorite goddess.
Amazing story. You sound very interesting. So what I am hearing is gardening practices videos. Drying herbs, practice used in helping your garden, and also videos about journaling. I’m so glad I stumbled across your page!
I love watching BoS/Spellbook walkthurs for inspiration for my own. I also like deck collection videos if you have any tarot/oracle decks, that would be cool to watch.

Well there are a ton of videos on how to make them, but the simplest way to start is to alter an existing book. it can be a blank journal or an old book. i think the best way is to just dive in, have you seen Molly Roberts video on Rock your Grimoire? it's excellent. You just have to go for it and make one and remember, you can have more than one, so just dive in!! have fun :)
This video only just made its way to me. Although I’m not one with the patience required to properly appreciate a flip through I have to say this journal caught and kept my attention. It is beautiful…the drawings, the lettering, the crinkle of the paper is exquisite…everything a journal of magick should deliver at first glance. I am inspired, blessed be.
I'm glad you like it! This book is such a source of inspiration for me. I got it from Pagan Scrapbook Supply years ago. Sadly, she is only making them rarely and she puts them up on ebay where they go for thousands now. I am very lucky to have gotten one when I did, she only made them in quantity for a short period of time and I got one early on when they were relatively affordable. The details are amazing, she spent 3 years doing research and working on this series of books. I just wish she would continue to make them for others to enjoy. Thanks for watching, I do make junk journals based on the movie, but they are not quite as big as this one or exactly like it.

Love these books, especially the copies of the movie pages themselves, wish i could find a close up of the centipede page, I am not looking to re image Isis' pages just the movie ones then continue with my own pages Its an A3 size I had made and weighs a ton! Any idea where I can find the page? I have found all the others.
I’m not sure if she ever sold the page you are looking for. It’s really hard to find these pages. I have done all the research too. I wish the woman on October Farm would film a flip through of hers. She has an actual book from the movie. All I can tell you is do the best you can with the info you have and make a page you love and you will be happy with it. This book was made by a now closed shop called Pagan Scrapbook Supply Company. It is a replica of the book of shadows in the movie Practical Magic. She did modify it because she is Wiccan and she made the book according to Wiccan beliefs so there are some real spells in this book based on that. Every now and then one will pop up on eBay and she did just sell one last week but I think it sold for over $2000. Which is just crazy.
Oh, (sorry for so many comments, but I keep thinking of things..) You mentioned what people would like to see, and I wanted to tell you that alot of people (including me) do NOT care how long the video is. Please don't try to make a quick video just to "for our convenience" because I LOVE long videos, like for instance, if you were to go through this book in more detail and even if it took over an hour that would be awesome! I find that I like watching longer videos because I like doing things while I'm watching and shorter ones I have to keep finding new videos while I'm trying to do something else is frustrating. So please, do longer videos if you feel like it! If people don't want to sit thru it all, they will click off, but you might be surprised how many WILL! I always see TH-camrs apologizing for their videos for being "so long" and they are like 20 mins and it frustrates me! LOL ..DONT WORRY ABOUT IT!!
Well thank you! Sometimes I like long videos but sometimes I want people to hurry up so I am guilty of wanting shorter videos myself. I will keep that in mind though. I have been so shocked at how many people have shown up to check out my videos and how many have subscribed!! I had no idea when I posted that people would actually be interested in my videos.
