    There is nothing lie Floetrol, saves me so much money, I do experiment with other recipes but sometimes Floetrol is just easy. I have no shame smelling every bottle in Lowes and Home Depot no matter the strange looks LOL!

    Those shampoo bars smell _soooooooooooooooo_ good! Thank you for shipping so quickly.
    If anyone cares, I've bought a bunch of your paintings and dull is *not* a word I would use to describe any of them. The colors are vibrant, including metallics and Prizm Pour.
    Thank you for another great tutorial. Much love!

    Thank you so much for making this video. It answered all my questions about floetrol dulling paints, which has been plaguing me. I can see the results clearly. You are a great teacher. Thanks again.

    Wow! Another wonderful lesson on pouring mediums, Tammy! You are certainly THE Mythbuster on the case, using your incredible detective skills to help the entire artist community. 🧐 I'm also glad your homemade shampoo is good for my Brazilian Blowout, and nothing harsh is used in your recipes. 🤗😘

    I used to think that it was floetrol dulling my paints...then I realized I was using to many transparent colors on top and they do that automatically....so it does matter the colors

    Hey Tammy, I’m so so so new to this paint pouring but I love it and they’re very very many artists that shared their expertise on TH-cam and probably other medias also. I’ve seen a dozen maybe different teachers I’m always run back to you nothing against the other people, but you’re so easy to learn from and you’re so giving of your talent and your knowledge and I’m so thankful to you. Thank you.

    You are such a great teacher Tammy😊. I also find that if you use a prof pouring medium in your paint and you don't end up liking the pour once it dries and want to re-use the canvas. I find that sometimes the 2nd pour doesn't adhere properly when it dries. 😁😘

    This video saved me. I’ve been having cracking problems when doing acrylic pours. My PM recipe was a 4:2:1 floetrol, PM, GAC800, I got from one of Molly’s first few videos. More failures than successes, due to cracking. I just did a painting after watching this video and mixed most of my paints with Floetrol and a little water to thin. However, I didn’t have any more pearl red to make more so I used my previous mixed pearl red (very little because I worried about it mixed differently from the others), and sure enough, it was the only one that cracked. I’m sticking with only Floetrol and water to thin for the win. Good thing I only used a little and it’s not enough to ruin the painting.
    With that said, may I put a link to this video in the description of my upcoming video for this Wednesday 2/14/24? I want to give you a shout out. You are awesome and so helpful to us new up and coming Artists. Thank you for all you do.

    Thank you for this! Very interesting. Floetrol here in Canada is much more expensive that yours, but still cheaper than pouring mediums. I think we pay anywhere from 40 to 60 dollars for a gallon of floetrol.

    What are your thoughts on Elmers glue all. From what I’ve learned…it doesn’t cause many cells…which is what I’m going for. Thx for your teachings!😊

      I used American Floetrol in all of the paints even the white on the right side of the test canvas ❤

    Love this video very helpful. I mix my paints with Flotrol. I’ve done dirty pour, straight pour. I don’t get many cells. I want to do a swipe pour. I see a lot of swipe videos people use a cell activator mixed with paint on bottom of their spatulas. What would you recommend using?

    • @tammyandersonart
      @tammyandersonart  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use your regular floetrol to do a swipe with the palette knife. I like to us the Australian Floetrol because theirs is made differently than the American and it produces alot more cells and lacing but you will definitely get a good effect using the American as well. The Australian just makes it a bit more pronounced ❤

    I've experimented with figuring out why paintings would come out dull and it seems that the culprit was to many transparent paint color layers

    • @tammyandersonart
      @tammyandersonart  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes that will also create a dull painting. ❤

    Congratulations on selling out. I'm looking forward to receiving my 🧼 🧼 🧼
    Great Tutorial 👍
    Now I know for sure I do not have to buy Australian floetrol to get cells. American floetrol does that fine.
