    I watched this video earlier and thanked you for your instructions. I was doing everything wrong. I listened and really got it. So I mixed my paints and prepared my canvas and I poured my paint. Then, I turned on my blow dryer and prayed your training would work. …And it did! I am thrilled with my painting and can’t wait to do another. I also bought a puffy 2000. Thank you again, and again and again. You are a goddess and my hero.

    Thank you for taking the time to show this. I gave up doing this technique a year ago because when I used the hair dryer, I could not get the paint to look like a petal. It just looked like marbled colors. But I think with you explaining how to just glide the colors over the white paint explains what I was doing wrong. I was trying to get the white and colored paints to move. No gliding involved. Lol. Who knows, maybe I will give it another try.

    You know I've talked to you about this, but I so wish someone had mentioned the shape of the concentrator when I first started. I know new artists will be so thankful with this tip. The giant almond-shaped one I had made me try 10 times on the same canvas and so I just quit. Then I tried one more time with a new dryer!

    This is AWESOME teaching,Tammy! I finally have a much better feeling about doing my Dutch pour on a 16" round canvas. I'm quite a newby and have been planning it in my mind for days now...Lol. I'm much more prepared for it now after watching this video! My biggest challenge at this point is to start pouring some that are a bit larger than what I've done before. Big canvases scare me! btw,I am a retired teacher myself,and I so appreciate greatly your teaching style as well as your amazing art! THANK YOU!

    • @tammyandersonart
      @tammyandersonart  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awww ty so much. I know the larger canvases are scary you start to think about the money you're gonna waste if it comes out wrong and you don't want to waste that big beautiful canvas . The good thing is that if it goes wrong you can pour over it so just keep that in mind and good luck❤

      I'll take a big breath and dive into a bigger one! I've recently just been asked to do a painting for my hairdresser's kitchen....WHOA! I guess that can be called a commissioned one??? I've decided she needs a rectangular Dutch pour. The rug I'm matching has so many darker colors and is busy,so I think a wispy Dutch would compliment the rug which is a bit overbearing in her small,white kitchen. I'm thinking. I'm thinking and thinking! It's pretty exciting! Thanks again,Tammy,for your teaching!
