The joke with Krillin being revived while still screaming is even funnier when you realize that time keeps moving in the afterlife, so he was screaming like that for 4 months...

And yeah, TFS totally voiced this transformation better than the original dub...and I love how they never say it outright but Goku just *is smarter* when he's Super Saiyan. Notice that?
The main theory behind the increase in Goku's intelligence is that his body visibly grows, so his heart and lungs increase in function to keep up. This means his blood is carrying more oxygen at a faster rate, and let's his brain function better than normal. It doesn't undo the brain damage from his infancy completely, but it might be restoring function that was impeded. In fact, from episode 30 on, he seems smarter in general, if only slightly.
Another thought is that the healing tank did his brain some good for the same reasons, which is to say he got more oxygen in his blood and it helped his brain recover a little.
Well or it's that he's really mad and he started treating the whole situation like a fight.

Except for a certain Saiyans transformation....the song TFS uses just doesnt fit. If you grew up with the funimation version most of us did, then that music just feels off...

7:40 TFS did a really good job at portraying Freeza as a racist - just like he was in the original show. You really get the sense that he despises every other race, and regards enslavement as mercy on Freeza's behalf. One of those villains you love to hate.
I know how much you hate filler, so I think you will really like the next episode. They do the Garlic Junior filler arc, and they do it awesomely.

Yes, from the time Frieza claims 5 mins til planet explodes til it does is far more run time of episodes than that, but there are several factors to take into account...such as the names on earth and gurus confession happening at the SAME TIME as the fight on namek...so there’s some time taken out, but more importantly, second saga of dragon ball demonstrates and explains why the 5 minutes SEEMED so long...namely the ability to perceive time differently, and as such, the fighting we see...if you had a timer on screen for it...would be counting down VERY SLOWLY...
It’s like people whining about an impossibly long runway in the fast and furious movie...yet if you split screen the different shots and angles and groups...and then don’t use up time jumping from once group to another, the runway becomes viable...
Season 3 is going to blow you guys away. Literally every part of it is the best of their material! I'm so excited that you've finally hit this point!

I would definitely tell people to watch the Original DBZ then TFS, because it won't be as funny... they wouldn't get all the jokes or even half. The Original is always going to be my favorite.... Epic lines, great music, tear jerking moments... TFS is funny.... it's a parody so I get it... but yeah, the Cell saga in this is gut busting funny.

The "you hesitated there" joke was about the "one and only" part of the Super Saiyan legend, considering how many characters got Super Saiyan for no other reason other than power scaling.

If Krillin hadn't already died (and been revived) back in the King Piccolo arc, then Shenron wouldn't have skipped him.

Serious question.. How come the Nemekian dragon was able to revive all the group, and immediately bring them to earth, but Piccolo had to be wished to Namek.

About the “pop goes the weasel” tfs takes more from the manga and original Japanese version of DBZ so that’s why some of the attack names are not from the dub, and in the manga/anime Freeza says “I think the brat should go next” or something like that and tfs kind of tried to reference that when talking about “a moving target” because Gohan was the moving target. So yeah there’s a lot of stuff referenced from the Japanese version in this and a little bit later on will be referenced from the dub which I think y’all will enjoy

Now this is an abridged series and it’s supposed to be funny, but there are supposed to be some serious moments mainly in the next arc and it gets really dramatic in the cell arc but not too dramatic, all I’m saying is that there is funny moments, but also more serious moments and some references that call back to previous episodes/movies/specials so yeah I hope I explained that right 🤷🏾♂️ love y’all tho
There's actually an extra end scene TFS did that isn't part of the original episode vid that explains robo Frieza in the abridged along with King Cold thats meant to be a parody of Star Wars Episode 3's Darth Vader reconstruction scene at the end of the movie.
Cell saga is where Vegeta, Tien, Gohan, and Piccolo reach their peaks. And, Cell (the best character) is introduced. You're in for a treat. The Abridged Cell Saga is, imo, better than the actual Cell Saga.
The reason killan wasn't brought back was cause in original dragonball he was killed by tambourine and he was brought back before and you can't be revived twice with the earth dragonballs

Tfs did the Frieza saga quite well, the Android/Cell saga was a slow burn but towards the end, it was absolute fire. Suggestion before you start season three, watch DBZ Kai Abridged 2

The krillian issue also required his body to be restored first and moved to the earth check in station before he could be revived. In Dragon ball they covered the requirements for bringing people back to life. The body must be intact and it can’t have been longer than a year since they passed.

The epilogue is non-essential, and so short that you can describe the whole thing in one sentence:
Literally the scene from *Star Wars: Episode III* where Palpatine creates Darth Vader, except with King Cold and Mecha-Frieza.
