The thing that no one mentions that is CRUCIAL: use light pressure when scraping and stamping! It will not work no matter what you do otherwise. You also don’t need stamping polish. Not all polish will work, but a lot will.

Instead of applying acetone directly to the skin, which can be drying, especially after repeated use - instead apply a barrier cream, gel, solution, or latex to the area in advance. This will prevent (or at least minimise) transfer of the stamp to the skin, and many can be easily and gently peeled off without any discomfort. Just make sure you're following your MSM and contraindication checks for compliance, and to choose the correct one for your client.

This channel is from a estore selling the plates and accessories. They seem to be very good. Look for the links in the description. The amazon ones aren't bad. The plates aren't that much of a problem but the stamps and polish. Also, I think this has more variety. Maybe you should try cheaper first until you learn, and then buy this ones? I'm telling you right now. BMC is the best stamping polish you ever use. I was recommended konad, I received it and it wasn't opaque and it was just terrible. I ordered BMC creative polish and I love it. Its just a shame I have to change stamping polishes due to not being able to ship to Australia.

+mylifeasAVA Make sure you have a good droplet of the top coat and apply using a floating motion. So the brush doesn't actually touch the nail but just gliding the top coat over the nail. Also polish in a 3 stroke motion without repeating strokes so that you can avoid smearing the design. Different top coat might react differently to the stamping polish that you used so you will need to experiment also. :)
You would have to test out which regular polishes would work for you...With our stamping polishes they are the best bet to getting a consistent stamp pickup and transfer. Hope that clarifies!
I know nail stampers should be come with the kit but what happens when the stampers do not work? I've bought two different stamping kits and the stampers themselves refuse to pickup the polish, not even a smudge! Maybe I'm missing something? Or does it have to do with the polish brand? I use Sally Hansen Insta-Dry which I've read is recommended and I've even cleaned the stamper with warm water, so what am I doing wrong?

Good question! You can stamp on top of your completed gel manicure. However, you can't use gel polish as the stamping polish. Gel polish does not transfer to the stamper correctly. You can use regular stamping polish to stamp. After you are done stamping, just topcoat with your usual gel top coat and cure a final time.
No. It's not the same. Some nail polish removers don't contain acetone. Acetone is more harsh on your nails. It is also used to soak off fake/plastic nails, acrylic and other gel formulas. Definitely not the same as non-acetone polish removers, but it does remove nail polish

If you cannot access nail stamping polish, it's possible to stamp with regular polish. However we recommend using regular nail polish that has a thick consistency. You'll find that regular nail polish tends to be on the thinner consistency side which means the polish will dry faster between the steps of nail stamping; therefore, transferring the nail design from plate to stamper, or stamper to the nail will be difficult.

It's the same one! This set comes with the silicone stamper heads (Soft and squishy) plus rubber ones (firmer).
