I agree there are songs that are of equal, or higher value. But Mozart's music, just like Beethoven, has it's own vibe. Music reflects the composer. Mozart to me has a very humorous and uplifting style, where as Beethoven has a more romantic and darker side to it, not that Mozart doesn't do dark, just at look at the magic flute, but Beethoven definitely goes into the depths of man's soul in other ways.

Beethoven was heavily influenced by his idol Mozart, Beethoven was a master too but Mozart was on another level. Beethoven would also agree, Haydn said "Mozart is the greatest composer known to me by name or in person" .... Chopin, Liszt, Schubert, Schuman, Salieri, Paganini, Brahms, Wagner, Rachmoninov, also loved Mozart. listen to "dies Irae" from the requiem " or Don Giovanni overture, Salzburg symphonies, piano concerto 16 to 24 20 & 24 were Beethovens favorite piano concertos and Beethoven borrowed from those and from mozarts 40 symphony and piano concerto number 24
