I just started getting into Tekken 7 properly and I'm a massive noob. I would pick to main ling xioayu first ffs 🤣I made a bad choice but I love her style so much. Just gonna stick with her now. I'm really improving with her and these vids help. Still got a lot to learn though
@@fastfaps oh boy :D i did the same did not learn anything about game mechanics or proper wavedash yet for months, i just try to maximize my cheesy combos and do beautiful moves :D but thats what makes me excited so... fck mechanics :D
its good and sad at the same time, thats because she is a lots of fun but also a lots of work to make her worth, most of char got shit gimmick cheap pressure and can mash out like crazy and have guarented easy oki that are 100% tracking, hitting whatever, where xiaoyu most of her trick arent reliable, needs a lot of practice for timing and stuff and especialy many are not straight forward and actualy need guessing, and sometime big pay off and sometime for not so much so. She can be a bit overwhelming compare to other character because she require quite some investment for an average return at most but she is tones of fun

You can tell in king jaes face he dislikes xiaos. Also probably thinks xiao players are cheap. Lol. Jus sayin cause my messages i get through my ps4 about how cheat she is and how cheap she is. Man the excuses never ended since even before online gaming. I remember people would wanna fight people if they used xiao when tekk 3 came out here in hawaii. Not that im saying king jae does it but his face says he does. Lol!! Great xiao tutorial best ive seen. Thanks man and dont hate on ling! Lol
This is the hardest female character to play for me. Her strings just don't act like any of the other Females in the game. And I find her lows to be all backwards from what I'm used to. My muscle memory just isn't sync'ed with this character. Guess all those wall options are going away in T8.
i personaly have a realy hard time using some move like the orbital, i tried to incorporate it into my gameplay but everytime i try i just get punish. compare to usual orbital it lack of range and especialy it lack of threat. Like leeroy or bryan got a lots of frightening low poke or even strong high + on block, but ling, its peanuts, all her low from neutral are mostly easily dodgeable or not that damaging or threatening to realy force OP to duck AND even if they do the orbital doesnt naturaly lunch unlike the others so. I realy strugle to use this move efficiently

seeing mr croft drop the combos by mistiming ff3 makes me feel a lot better abt myself, who misses it all the time
