I think i'm going to use a 7M chinese rod, for the sierras when I get bored.. I will have my buddy Woody tie me up a 'dressed hook', some black dressing with a silver mylar stripe over it.. simple/dumb.. pretty sure it would work fine for the fish I fish for.. and super fun/easy.. not sure if there is a name for the fly I have in mind, probably is, but I can describe it to him and he can tie it no problem
guys, this was super informative. I do basically all of the same things, but I was never really taught the proper methods I found out through trial and error. It is nice to see someone else set up the rod etc. I just pulled over what I knew from fly fishing. Happy Fishing. Cheers
Cast and Spear I find it a lot quicker, and more nimble to move around. It’s also much more transportable- for backpacking etc. all you need can fit in a small pocket along with a pop up net. You obviously can’t cast as far as fly fishing but it’s a quick, and fun way to get a similar experience.
few questions how often should you change tenkara f line and do u have to clean tenkara line and what line would you reccomend for bass poppers and trout nympths
What's your favorite Tenkara fly?

Thanks for watching! If you already fly fish, then you're set. How do you like the tenkara set up to your old setup for catching fish?

Agreed!
Thx! Going bass fishing this weekend. Only have 5 and 2x tho 😬
Good luck, lmk what you catch
As far as tying on that tippet, it has been proven through tests that the regular clinch knot is stronger than the "improved" clinch.
Interesting! Can you send me the link to that please?

14:49 low key gives up on that damned furled line tangle. LOL
Ya it was a pain lol
Furled line or level line?
I like level lines now.
Good video. Please do a separate vid on the knots.
Will do!
