I could imagine the future where there will be no scooters riding delivery boys but instead drones doing all the deliveries and each household will have their own drop off point.
welcome to my city. enjoy your trip. actually during our national holiday from Oct.1~7, there was drone show every day. the most closed place to your hotel is call "Bijia hill" just closed to the Lotus hill you stayed, if you were there, you can watch the amazing drone show at 8:00pm. regarding the toilet, usually the public toilets in Shenzhen are very clean no matter which park you stay. there is a dedicated person in charge of the cleaness of toilet. the only problem is you shouldn't come out during the national holiday. it's 20 times crowded than usual. every place was packed with people. now you should understand why every China railway station, metro station or bus station is so massive. all the infra of China were built for peak week and leave some buffer for the future expansion.
Talk about the future. Shenzhen. Guys, what a charming video. We have been to China but not to Shenzhen. It's bucketlist for us on a return trip. Thank you so much for the wonderful tour. Sending you much love ❤❤from Richmond, Va. Jim and Harriet ( new subscribers )
Our pleasure Jim and Harriet! If you go to Shenzen, please also visit Guangzhou - it's a really charming city with delicious Cantonese food! And also, what we did next we took a 15 mins train from Shenzen - Hong Kong which we absolutely loved too - distances are short and you'll find yourself in a completely different reality 😍😍
12:20 It’s totally worth the money, 25 dollars for 2 person, because the restaurant you dined in is owned by a famous HongKong-based food critic called Chua Lam.
@JayandKarolinaAs Chinese, we prefer to look for small restaurants rather than restaurants run by critics/stars. If the gimmick is too high, the premium will be very heavy, and the food may not be very delicious, not as good as the local small restaurants.😢
What an eye opener. WOW! Thank you for this informative, yummy, incredible drone delivery service and fascinating tour of Shenzhen which I now intend to visit, hsieh, hsieh!

Guys, dim sum restaurants are never quiet and they’re not meant to be a quiet place. Even if it’s not during national holidays, they are still packed over the weekends cuz they are the typical restaurants to go to for families. It’s a Cantonese (Guangdong/Shenzhen/Hong Kong) culture and tradition where all generations of a family (from elderly to kids, especially those who do not live together) come together on a weekly/biweekly basis to catch up with each other, basically just chats. So how can these restaurants be quiet and calm? They’re not even meant to be like that, not meant to be fancy, soothing or chill places. And because of the porcelain tea pots and the constant serving of food bits by bits in all little plates, noises can’t be avoided.
Not a good idea to go to touristy places in China during their national holidays. Basically you will be with millions of people from other parts of China competing for the same services. That's why China has to build so much infrastructure, and need to do things in the most efficient way, in order to cater for such rush periods. As a foreigner not knowing the language, somehow you survived that experience. You deserved a big thumbs up!!👍
HEYTEA and NAIXUE are the two best tea beverage brands in China, famous for their fruit tea.And what you are drinking is grape tea, which is made of fresh grapes, NFC juice and jasmine tea, not jam or essence.
Yes, it truly is... We were very surprised with the drone delivery but that light show in the evening was just something completely out of this world!!! 😍
Hi. She did not mean no recording. What she wanted was to have you drink little from the bottle to make sure it is not kerosene or flammable liquid. Don't worry. Make the video or filming however you want😊
If you hold a bottle of drink when you pass the security, you are usually required to drink at present in case it's a dangerous liquid. If the drink is in your bag which pass through the scan altogether, you don't need to do anything with the drink. Because the scan can detect the nature of the liquid
wow!🎉welcome to ShenZhen! a big morden city where im living here. very busy and fast pace than other city as you can see!I think the light show is best vive of shenzhen at ninght!😂looking forward to your new video about HK🇭🇰&MU🇲🇴😊❤❤
hello,I like your vlog very much. If you want to visit China next time, I recommend you to come to Changsha, Hunan Province, which is a very beautiful city with a lot of food. I look forward to meeting you in Changsha.🥳
My home is near Lianhuashan Park, i miss them! And i didn't even know there was a drone delivery point like this. I have to go back to China to experience drone delivery during winter break!🤭
When going through the metro security check, they require to check the liquid with their device, or require you to drink to show it's water instead of highly flammable liquids. Don't worry, haha.
@@JayandKarolina Long time before, there was someone used sulfuric acid to hurt any other on the railway carriage, so the the security check is for this, no harmful liquid and no easy burning liquid.
Holy WOW, i hadn't watched your videos in a little while so i'm super impressed by how good Karolina has become on camera. Great descriptive food reviewing!
2:07 Hey Jay or Karolina, every metro in China uses a liquid detector/machine just near the x-ray machine to check whether the liquids contained any explosives. The person there actually was asking you to do the check. And yeah, if you don’t comply, you might be getting into some trouble
You are very good at living and eating. Many train station toilets often have the problems you mentioned because there are a lot of people moving there every day, and there are always some low-quality people who don't flush their feces. We all hate it. It's better to go to the high-speed train or shopping mall to use the toilet
There are often celebrating events during national day holiday in big cities. The light show is gorgeous! Truth being told, I never tried drone delivery before. A really lovely and fulfilled day for you couple!

Just watched your first video where you guys went to Beijing and saw you went to an awful hotel. Feeling sorry about the experience, but we usually live in the hotels with corporate chains around the country like QuanJi. Especially in cities like Beijing where lots of old towns and buildings are still present, it is quite common to see small businesses that are for tourists with relatively low budget, so please keep that in mind if you guys are still in China and wish to visit some small cities! But really happy to see you guys found a nice and cozy place in Shenzhen! Hope you guys have fun in China!

Clanging dishes, loud conversations and generally quite noisy ambiance are all part of an authentic dim sum experience, especially in places like Guangzhou, Shenzeng and Hong Kong. 😊
I don't go to toilets in stations and busy areas, there are too many people there and you can't guarantee that everyone is of good quality to keep the toilets clear. When I'm out, I usually go for the toilets in shopping malls or office buildings. It will be much better.
The lunch you had (Chua Lam) is a good choice for trying dimsum. They put out good quality dimsum, but bear in mind most of their dishes have a special twist (eg truffle topped) compared to the standard dimsum dishes. For those of you who've never been to China or about to go to China, here are some little tips: Many and more countries are allowed free visa to China for up tp 144 hours,; there's no tip culture, set up your phone with Alipay or Wechat Pay when you arrive, you won't survive without your phone; take Didi or Gaode for Taxi to save money, or offical taxi at least, the illegal taxi might charge you unreasonably; Don't book a hotel that's far away from your destination, because the city is larger that you might expect; finally, go to Beijing, Xi'an and Nanjing for history, Shanghai for modernization, Shenzhen for technology, Chengdu and Chongqing for leisure and food. 144 hours travel policy is open, welcome everyone.
