I love the new RS3 over anything apart from Porsche 911 turbo rs but they are different price range. The new m2 looks 2 decade old. dont hate it but I dont love it. Nothing launches like the Audi does. If you love the rs3 8v you will flipping cream yourself over the 8y 2022 version
I think the allure of an M car or M lite is that it’s a work in progress and a gradual journey/challenge. Whereas in an RS3 anyone with decent driving skill can drive it hard anywhere an M car is a learning curve. Some people love that and that constant rush and slowly pushing the limits that more whilst some people just don’t gel with that and like a point A to B shooter. Both amazing cars but just depends what is your driving style and what you want out of it
iv had also m2 comp and rs3 saloon 2019 and will say the rs3 is better overall in that its just better inside and 5 cylinder sound never gets old! the m2 comp is rappid when going but wow hard ride and not best for taller guys! id 100% take rs3 over m2 comp and im a bmw guy to be honest! my insurance was only £680 on m2 comp but over £1000 on rs3 saloon
I love your honesty Gem, you don’t know something fully until you try it, and if it wasn’t for you then it wasn’t for you! Like you said cars are a big part of your life so it’s got to be right, and if you’ve got the ability to switch it up then you can do what you want with your money! Can’t wait to see what’s to come 🤗
Never understand why these are compared. Two totally different cars. I liked the previous gen m2 but no good for me with a family, so needed 4 doors. Live in uk,so regularly wet and narrow roads, so rs3 a no brainier, especially with far better sounds at stock.
I love this, I have a mk5 gti absolutely love it, but I hope one day I hope i will be able to afford a m140i or a golf R, it's a daily battle in my mind and it doesn't matter at all till things are better in my bank account lol but I always debait rwd vs 4wd and I think I am generally sensible 90% of the time, other then abit of tail fun I won't be drifting, lots say 4wd boring but for what I want it seems more sensible option ! I also think with rwd would I be afraid to push it too much that doesn't seem like fun to me neither !
I think the 2015 Rs3 is more practice as easier car to drive than a M2. Have notice the prices are coming down. Over valued a lot of cars and take months to sell. Would you get another rs3?

Correct need alot more skill to drive a M car and to get the most out of it definitely gives u more of a rush where as the rs3 is easy to control

M2 could be a bit scary in the wet and frost,RS3 feel more secure all year round , I see where you're coming from ,looking forward to see new daily,

I personally really didn’t like my M140i! Felt very boaty and had no grip half the time. M2 has waaay more grip due to all the bracing & LSD
