Thank you. I'm not a musician myself but I come from a family where music was almost always present. The words in those songs or even just the melodies had a point, a message, and were a powerful way to bring people together. So I think that should still be the case. I'm an artistic type of person and though no ones told me to shut up about my political opinions yet online, but they have in person and quite loudly. I've had men more than twice my size shout at me and tell me how stupid I am. I've had women do the same. And the special part is when a group of people decide to bind together and yell at me as if that is somehow going to magically make me think that somehow they're right and good people. Nope they're the same jerks they were five minutes ago. I've been told I don't matter and my opinions don't matter in a thousand different ways so far in my lifetime. So while I'm not a musician, I feel this message. And there is a time when fed up does happen.
I'm telling you. People are just too in their heads. Don't really think about others or the outside world. They don't think about taking a step back. And mind you their stubborn and closed- minded. It’s not the artists sharing their opinions. It’s political campaigns that act like the American people care more about who Taylor Swift endorses than their actual policy platforms. Maybe if some politicians spent more time explaining what they will do for our country and less time promising free Beyoncé concerts, then people wouldn’t be so tired of the Hollywood endorsement circus.

Good point! I think celebrities add energy and excitement to politics whatever their views are. But you can't base an entire campaign on that. To be clear, I don't think that's what Kamala did, I think people just want to dismiss musicians as props and not see them as people living in this country who care about what's happening.
