After watching this, I was able to install with ease. I'm a single female who knows nothing about plumbing. I use the bidet right after I installed..oooweeee amazing fresh clean cheeks. Thanks dude!
Thanks for this informative video! Your care and attention to detail of this job makes it really easy to follow along, especially for someone like myself who hasn't the slightest if of knowledge about plumbing. I'm enjoying my bidet free of water leaks thanks to watching along to this!
I truly appreciate this feedback, it’s what I’m trying to do with these videos - do my best to explain the process, and I hope to help people out however possible! Thanks for checking out the video 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good video. Very clear. Bit here's my issue. I had a friend come over to install my bidet. Well for some reason he had the whole fill valve spin. Don't know what happened there. Going forward it leaked at the white nut under the tank. He gave up and back to zero. Well my point of view is that he may have stripped the fill valve. However once reattached it's not leaking. And I think its because the old nut found its way to the threads. One other thing is is see he had the Teflon tape over just a bit over the connector. I wonder if thats the problem. I will see for myself I guess. Any comments are welcome.
You can def have too much Teflon, or sometimes the gasket that’s inside the supply line can be “off” on the inside, not seated as it should be. Last thing, these connections do not need to be crazy tight, hand tight is normally ok, but using channelocks / wrench is ok but you have to be able to “feel” how tight you are getting. Overtightening will def cause leaks as well.
AFTER crying buckets of tears, I Utubed instructions cuz the way i set things up had the connections leaking like a staff member of the Trump White House. The advice about setting up the first connection to the hose instead of trying to do it after the T-part was attached to the toilet: and making sure the direction of the tape went the right way - which did, in fact, mess with my brain - did the trick. Now mine is shooting out like a (i can only think of dirty shooting analogies so i wont' go there). Anyhow, this was a super clear, very logical and helpful video. Having a bidet is life changing. I love it so much I'm making a point of eating tons of fiber just so I have as many occasions to use it as possible. Have you been enjoying it?
It’s definitely magical! Still works great too, this unit has held up well with no leaks or issues so far! Thanks for the support and glad the video helped you out! 💪🏻
That is awesome!!! I am so glad I could help you out!!! I also greatly appreciate the feedback as that is what helps me to improve and continue to make videos!! Good luck on your install!!
Your step by step directions were so beneficial for me. I’m happy you showed the water sprayer/cleaner in action because before that I was like🤔, huh? 😂. Ok! Next project. Thanks, hear?
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate the feedback - my goal is to help as much as I can while doing these videos. Ours still works great and no issues so far!! 💪🏻
Perfect, I am expecting mine in the mail today. Metal on metal = Teflon tape, plastic on metal no tape needed. Yeah, I'll tape off the parts that need the tape before the install, tight fit here. Thanks for the pro tips!
Good luck with the install, and I hope the video helps you out!! There’s always a debate on tape or no tape, and as long as I’ve been using Teflon I don’t have leaks - so for me, it’s certainly not hurting anything. 💪🏻
I remember back in the day they always make fun of Asian country using these, and the manual hose spay, but once you make it automatic most Americans will want one haha. They don't realize it some men will enjoy this(or pretend not enjoying), but most female will love this.
OK good demo. Instead of a towel use a glass to catch the water close to the nozzle and the water will run into the bowl. For me and everybody living north of the snow and where the ground freezes both hot and cold water lines are needed unless you like your bum ice cold. I just checked the water temperature and it is is 45F or 7C. It is April 10, 2020.
No electricity needed. Hot water supply and a thermostatic valve such as Atmama Three-Wway Thermostatic Valve www.amazon.com/dp/B082M73L38?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Could be a bad connection there, or a faulty supply line. If it's an old supply line you may want to consider changing it out. If the water is leaking from the valve itself, you may want to consult with a plumber local to your area to have them inspect in person (Unless you can swap it out yourself). Could be a lot of different things - hard to know without seeing it. Check the rubber gasket inside the end of the supply line too - and remember, supply lines don't have to be 'wrenched' super tight, they aren't designed for that and sometimes over tightening can cause leaks.
I hope hope hope you're still reading these comments...I need help!!! I started installing my bidet...instead of a hose from the tank to water supply, I have a pipe. I loosened the attachment from the tank but since it's a pipe not a hose, it just stays where it is. Can I replace the pipe, install a hose then continue on with the installation of the bidet hose and T gauge?
You should be able to connect a supply line (hose) to the valve (the part that has the lever to turn on the water flow that comes out of the wall or floor). Sometimes older homes / buildings have a small copper pipe that supplies the water to the tank, I’ve only seen it a few times. I found a video that explains what you need to do I’m 99% sure th-cam.com/video/s2VAz-BDfGA/w-d-xo.html
Neil, not sure I follow - are you asking about washer for the supply line that goes to the valve? Thanks for watching and glad the video was able to help you out!
No need to make sure the tank's empty. The only reason to flush at all first is so the tank fill valve opens and releases the water stored under pressure in the length of line between the fill valve and the water shut off valve.
There's a video of a lady who installed one of these in 5 minutes with nothing but her hands a plastic bowl and a towel. Took her 5 minutes! Lol This guy brought everything but the kitchen sink! Just shows how men tend to overthink. 😂
Could be that, or just two different people’s approaches to the same problem? I do know mine worked great and didn’t leak, guess that means I least did something right. (And who says it wouldn’t have taken 5 mins without having to record a video?) ✌🏻
Where is it leaking from? You may have overtightened something, and of of course could also be under-tight. Try shutting off water, and start from the beginning. The unit itself could also be defective - hard to know for sure without more details. Good luck!
Easy to install, th-cam.com/users/postUgkxjA-hDN2m8_mi0Dg0JD8U6QiArozIAc4I and comfortable. No idea what other people were talking about when they said it was difficult to install or uncomfortable.
This unit does not need to plug into the wall. It's just a valve that allows water to flow through it. They do make other units that have heaters in them, but that is not this one. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks so much for the comment, I truly appreciate you taking the time and for the kind words!! Glad the video was able to help you out!! 🙏🏻
Thanks for this EPIC step-by-step tutorial. 🙏🏼
It helped me a lot... and saved me at least $500 for the plumber.
Hey!! So glad you reached out and glad to hear that the video helped you out! It’s not too bad of an install yeah!? Thanks for the support!
Omg I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!
Love this!! So glad the video helped!! 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your step by video on installing a bidet. I really, ready appreciate it. ❤️

I once heard someone say this about why you should use a bidet “if you get poo on your arm, do you just wipe it off with paper only?” 😎
Very well explained installation 👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks for the comment!! Yeah even here in TX the water was super cold over the winter!! A heated option might be the best option overall no doubt!!
2020 The year Americans discover the bidet.
My idea is to install a low temperature thermostatic valve and feed the toilet supply with warm water.
That may work! Would that need electricity?
No electricity needed. Hot water supply and a thermostatic valve such as Atmama Three-Wway Thermostatic Valve www.amazon.com/dp/B082M73L38?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Cool video man
Thanks!!! Hopefully it makes the install easier if you’re going to give it a try!
Thank you bro
Daughter tried installing one and it leaks from the wall shut off, what could it be?

Good job
Thanks so much!! It’s still been great for us, no issues even now.
