Just found a way to prevent back muscle spasm pain when standing up from a seated position. Simply place each palms on your laps as near as possible to your hips and press against the laps as you stand up. In this manner it somehow deactivate back muscles from firing and pulling to strongly which in turn helps reducing or even stopping pain during your healing period. Try this to see if it works for you.
Sorry to hear that! hopefully you should recover quickly. If you do need help then check out the program: backinshapeprogram.com/premium/ it will help :)
Excellent video, this is exactly what I have for past few days, when I get up or move I get a sudden sharp pain that I can’t move for a few seconds and I know it was caused by sitting in wrong position, putting ice and heat help, thank you from Texas, this is the 1st video I saw for sharp pain
You tell exactly what I feel. For me it's one of my back problems, but this video helped to understand what happens when standing in my lower back. Thanxs.
Excellent. Finally someone talking about exactly what I'm experiencing. Would be great if can explain why as stand up straight more from years of being slightly hunched over without knowing it and rebalance my body there's a numbness in my sacroiliac area and a numbness in my glute and the side of my leg as I finally stand straight on that side and can all this be reversed? .... and how or is it a "Quada Equina" thing involving nerves bundle issues that may need surgery ? ....Or even quada equina nerve bundle issues severity can be naturally reversed through heat and ice standing erect and stretching? Also would be great if you could explain what's going on internally (where what joints(sacroiliac?) and muscles) when a lumbar numbness and an inability or reduced ability to push out colon for bowel movement (pre incontinence) due to hunched locked forward lean posture occurs and can this or should this inability to push BM (pre incontinence) be remedied in time by finally standing up erect (even on the toilet) with no pain and ability to reach back and be standing straight with zero pain??
Thanks for the comment, you might find the episodes of our Podcast helpful in answering some of the above to give you a little more detail: backinshapeprogram.com/podcast/ (it's free) fundamentally you need to do proper rehabilitation work to make improvements in these things, doesn't happen overnight, but theres a 99.9% chance you can be much better than you are right now :)
I had a sudden lower back pain while I picked up the key from the ground and now I am not able to stand up straight , the pain is in the lumbar region , what should I do ?
I would suggest the best action would be to get started with rehab as this is a sign there are some real weaknesses/issues in the low back in general. Here's a link to the website to learn more and join the program: backinshapeprogram.com
I bent down to pick something up a few hours ago, when I stood up I got sharp pain so bad in my lower back I can’t stand or walk the only thing helping is laying on my side with my knees bent. The moment I go to move the pain is so bad I can’t stand or walk

I’ve had 2 severe lumbar flare ups in my lifetime and I’m currently in the second one. Thank you for explaining what I needed to hear. It’s sad though, I’m only in my mid 20s and I can’t walk for 2 weeks sometimes because of this. I hope I can find some answers to help so I am able to function normally. Do you have any recommendations for treatments when away from home - like certain medications, homeopathic remedies etc?

I have paralyzed backpain if I stand upright in static postions for a long time, not when sitting. When standing and tyring to move the hips like shown in 11:00-12:00, it can feel strong paralyzed pain in the lower back area. Can you make a video how to find cause of this pain?
I am just 20 years old and cannot sit properly. I am very frustrated while sitting. I have to attend my college classes and the seats are not comfortable. Its very painful sitting continuously for 5 hours.
Im 58 its july, im 4 moths postoperative after having a lower lumbar laminectomy. At first, i felt great but now thr pain is coming back but it feels different. More sore than that electrical pain. Etf!!!???
With these things you've got to have the right rehab otherwise the cause of the need for surgery is simply not addressed. Do check out the masterclass video for a little more information and support : th-cam.com/video/QIYFt7qQbJw/w-d-xo.html
I am 46 and suffering with long-term cronic back pain for good 15 odd years. With yoga I felt better. However, from the past 3x years its getting out of my hands. If even I miss yoga for more than 2 days the severe pain crept back up again. Don't forget that I am always in pain even with the yoga but this time its got to the point that I cant even sit stand or lie down. I had to quit my job too. There are solutions - but often "solve the pain" means stop it hurting right now, which is somewhat like saying how can i stop the pain in my big toe after kicking a wall. for "solve the problem" there are solutions which we discuss on many videos, but you need to understand the issue and stop making it worse every day which is a major hidden block for most people.
My pain comes from having a bad bed for too long. In combination with sutting and Then walking with an arched lower back made my pain permanent. Now im doing physio but its hard to really find the solution to my problem.
