I think the only example where our weapons got nerfed so bad is in Hollywood movies, like when people with sword defeating the whole Earth's modern military in open field, but in anime I could say they're fair enough to our weapons because they provide the enemies with way stronger technology and capabilities which is make sense enough for me if we lose

Yeah I understand there is GATE but the propaganda hidden inside just makes me cringe. I want a story where the entire world that are competent,have better weaponary and capable of adapting to new situations. Actually making interesing instead of having the bad guys winning a one sided battle all the time. I understand this is a bit too long to read.
