3/10 It's a crappy and generic war film, where it would have made no difference if the "aliens" were just ordinary human soldiers. As it stands, the alien design isn't very good or well presented, and often only gets seen from a distance in brief shaky cam moments. One has to wonder what that tank’s original mission was. Whatever it was, the crew made a fabulous last stand buying as much time for the marines and civilians as they could, even after the tank was destroyed they still got out and tried to fight.
as u could see the tank was partially immobilized, probably waiting for an ambush as the alien marching toward them, but they saw the bus crew arrived and started firing

lol Movie type ending of a firefight. Yes you have one big explosion, then everyone just stands around. You're supposed to push the enemy then while they are still concussed by the explosion and not assume all of them died in the dramatic kaboom. If there were survivors, letting them catch their breath again to continue the fight = you dying later on. That big kaboom should have been followed up by an infantry rush to clear the area.
i dont think a single small unit of marines counts as an infantry push, and that was never their orders. They were tasked to get those civilians out. Besides, yes they blunted that wave of aliens, but at great cost. They didnt have another hero Lt and bus full of C4 if there was literally another alien walker and support unit following up right away also
@@kineticdeath It's not the size of the unit that determines if it is an infantry push but the type of unit. I'll give you an example of why they have to push in real life. You see that big explosion? Let me ask you. How do you know that it killed all the aliens? How do you know they are really dead and not just concussed from the explosion and are not going to get up in another 3 minutes for round 2? The real life answer is you push forward with an infantry push to "sweep" the area and kill any that are just stunned or injured so they don't get up and shoot you in the back once you turn around. It's called "clearing the area". It is BECAUSE they don't have another hero Lieutenant that they have to sweep aggressively. If they missed even a few aliens, the firefight will just restart and they'd end up in the same situation as before. The Lieutenant bought them a CHANCE, not a sure thing. This "something dramatic happens = we win" is pure Hollywood. After a concussing explosion, you need to rush the enemy to finish them off when they are still stunned from the explosion.
Appreciate a movie that didn't pretend to be the military. They had military advisors and all the actors hand to train and move like if they were in military. But yeah, it would be nice if this movie was expanded to the world, with various rag tag groups joining forces from various Nation.
up to then there was no tanks. that 2 legged hovergun is hardly a tank anyway. As far as anyone knew it was purely alien infantry. Even after the hovergun reveal the aliens had no armor. It was only later on still they got air support and theres never any mention at all of ocean going forces. So in that sense not equiping for anti armor (or anti air early on) seems to make some sense. Also maybe the AT specialists were killed already
Not all platoons carry anti-armor weapons aside from maybe 1 or 2 AT4s. Also, it didn't look like that had a weapons squad (where you would most likely find those weapons). Even if they had AT4s they are meant for light armor, and not javelins as those are much larger and heavier. Javelins also require a lock and exposure, you'll likely be taken out before you could set the weapon system up and take the shot in the situation they were in, even if you could lock on.
The unit was torn apart and running low on munitions to this point. Pretty realistic they might have either expended or lost the personnel with anti armor capability
If you looked closely, the tank was facing backwards from the battle, they probably have an retreat order from the enemy bombing runs on destroying the highway. Maybe their tracks got exploded by the enemy rocket launcher and must have stayed and fight the enemy in a last stand. The killing blow was in the rear of the tank, the weakest armor area to stop the tank lifeline. Plus the tank crew decided to fight outside to avoid being cooked inside the tank, they fought bravely knowing being outgunned and outnumbered by an guerrilla and high technology alien military.
As an avid XCOM 2 player, this scene was giving me Vietnam flashbacks to some REALLY fubar’d missions. My upmost respect to the men and women who ACTUALLY do this sort of thing for a living 🫡.
Its the little things that catch your eye: one alien soldier is seen pulling a wounded comrade back into cover at 3.00. That always struck me as an odd detail to include and it makes you realise that the alien soldiers arent just mindless drones: they care for each other and it made me wonder if other aliens had discovered the body of that one the marines had essentially tortured to death mere minutes before and how they responded to finding the body of a comrade. . . . . . . . .
This movie holds a special place for me because of the aliens design. They aren't your typical aliens where there thousands of years ahaed of us only to be defeated by plot armor. Theyre only a couple hundred years ahead of us in technology. So when the aliens are defeated, its far more believable.
C'est le seul film ou on voit les soldats aliens faire preuve de courage , se protégeant mutuellement et aider leurs camarades blessés comme les militaires humains .
The only reasonn humans can defeat these aliens is that except for the interstellar spacecraft, their tech is not that far ahead of human's.A good action movie but the science behind it is not solid.
I'm pretty sure the aliens main Destroyer are the drones, because their infantry is not much and their vehicles are not much as well and the drones are the ones destroying everything..
The aliens are odd biomechanical drone like yet at the end almost acting in fearful retreat they obviously studied humans a little as in our physiology and technology but not our culture our stubbornness smells like a diversion to draw attention away from something else
The movie plot may be so green but the fight scenes are awesome if in reality aliens are really capable enough to travel interstellar travel then they can easily kill humans with their superior technology like just attack from space use weapon of mass destruction eliminate satellite etc
It's just another shoot-them-all movie. Like terror movies, it was certainly easy to write. However, I liked the concept of an alien invading force that makes up their gear with whatever they find in place. No need for a supply line or arrive with huge transport ships.

I would give it an 8..
I liked the movie as well..
Taking out the xenos scum...The Emperor Protects!!!!
10. This movie is awesome. Retreat Hell!
Appreciate a movie that didn't pretend to be the military. They had military advisors and all the actors hand to train and move like if they were in military.
But yeah, it would be nice if this movie was expanded to the world, with various rag tag groups joining forces from various Nation.
0:30-0:35 that loader was reloading that tank fast af
Humanity is so amazing
Great clip...
Just a reminder, the 5.56 round shot out of a 20' M-16 barrel is a screaming eagle..
as much as i love the m4 and m27 shorter length. I have a big soft spot for the M16 line. 20 inches will put in the work
That suppressing fire really sucked lol.
It's hard to believe none of them are equipped with M203 grenade launcher.

Una de las películas más buenas
Some parts of the movie is dumb (like 99% of all movies), but overall it's good.
Well movie isn't for everyone 😂😂😂
I love this movie, but that US Army tank crew really makes me weep. Makes me think of my brothers and that i know theyd have done the same.
id love to see the enter worlds prospective
Damn shame tho 😕
ngl, i dont care much about how realistic it might be, its a story, and they tell a damn good story.
They could’ve taken out that alien mech with a Grenade launcher …….
pretty how a unit don't have a single anti tank weapon in them
they might with previous soldiers who were killed. war is messy.
That squad was originally a platoon that had been killed off up to that point.
up to then there was no tanks. that 2 legged hovergun is hardly a tank anyway.
This movie is action from start to end one of my favorites
They weren't low-tech. They didn't know the shit storm they were landing on
If you looked closely, the tank was facing backwards from the battle, they probably have an retreat order from the enemy bombing runs on destroying the highway.
この映画は好きだな。
If this was happening today the aliens would go to the International Court of Justice and demand a CEASEFIRE and HUMANITARIAN AID.
Not Enough.
We want their alien tech aswell.
This gets me everytime hoorah
i love that the aliens are squids inside a mecanized bipedal body, but they gesticulate like humans to issue comand lol

Well said 👏
As an avid XCOM 2 player, this scene was giving me Vietnam flashbacks to some REALLY fubar’d missions. My upmost respect to the men and women who ACTUALLY do this sort of thing for a living 🫡.
Such a good movie
This movie deserve to have avengers lebel kind of fame
Magnifique film
I really would like to see these Aliens vs the Terminator army
(I see M1 Abrams)(0:23)
C'est le seul film ou on voit les soldats aliens faire preuve de courage , se protégeant mutuellement et aider leurs camarades blessés comme les militaires humains .
I know this movie makes no sense and has some edgy cringe parts but i am glad it exists . Cool battle scenes
4:35 That ain’t no alien a robot
The only reasonn humans can defeat these aliens is that except for the interstellar spacecraft, their tech is not that far ahead of human's.A good action movie but the science behind it is not solid.
where's john wick when you need him
Yes sir
Great action, and realistic, but that .50 cal would've torn that thing up. Alien or not, it'd torn it up.
5:25 "ura" 🗣️
8:26 Half-Life 2 gravity gun sound effect jumpscare
Military VS Aliens
that's how you do a recruitment commercial
My only production design mistake was the .50 cal bullets hitting the ground. That’s .556
1:14 wha- what alien destroy tanks only alien go us go³
I'm pretty sure the aliens main Destroyer are the drones, because their infantry is not much and their vehicles are not much as well and the drones are the ones destroying everything..
The aliens are odd biomechanical drone like yet at the end almost acting in fearful retreat they obviously studied humans a little as in our physiology and technology but not our culture our stubbornness smells like a diversion to draw attention away from something else
2 months ago 😮
The movie plot may be so green but the fight scenes are awesome if in reality aliens are really capable enough to travel interstellar travel then they can easily kill humans with their superior technology like just attack from space use weapon of mass destruction eliminate satellite etc
It's just another shoot-them-all movie. Like terror movies, it was certainly easy to write. However, I liked the concept of an alien invading force that makes up their gear with whatever they find in place. No need for a supply line or arrive with huge transport ships.
Well movie wasn't for everyone 😂😂😂
해병대 홍보 영화.
