Thanks for the tutorial. The only thing I did a little differently was to use a smoothing broach (since I have them) to take the bushing the last little bit of the way after using cutting broaches. The smoothing broach also leaves a nice polished and rounder hole not that it's critical on these kinds of clocks.
All the books I've read on the topic specify about a 4 degree tilt on the shaft so rather than putting it together and taking it apart several times to test clearance I went with the angle approach to knowing when the hole was big enough. The concept being that we want enough clearance for a good film of oil between the pinion and the bushing .

The reason we put wheels between the plates to test them is because it's virtually impossible to accurately assess 4 degrees of perpendicular and 5 degrees of perpendicular, the latter being a rebushing job required.

Merhaba Türkiye'de böyle tamir eden saatçi yok. Çark yatağına sac sarıp geniş yatağı telafi etmeye çalışıyorlar o da randımanlı olmuyor...

Since broach is tapered wouldn't you be best to do it from both sides of plate?

The bushing is held into the plate by friction so if you also broached from the front of the plate you would remove extra material which would reduce the amount of friction between the plate and the bushing.

The inside of the bushing should be from both sides.

The reamer is tapered I would think you would need to go from both sides
