    I bought the Blackout Beta with night sights and have taken it to the range once. First few shots I was pressing the mag release with my left hand, inducing one failure to feed and dropping the magazine. Adjusted my grip slightly and everything was great! The Beta model makes a perfect carry gun to me, even with the 18 round mags, which are the only ones available at this time. I hope they produce the 15 round mags soon, as well as grips in other colors, like OD green. The gun shoots accurately and runs defensive rounds, including " inceptor " shape rounds without issue.

    And thanks for producing! I LOVED my original Daewoo DP51 (K-5). It was a PERFECT design for me since I was raised on double-action revolvers, and that "Triple Action" long and smooth single action weight trigger produced amazing accuracy. It had a hard-chromed barrel that rang like a temple bell! It broke my heart to sell it for rent! It ate any ammunition flawlessly too. I put hundreds of self-defense rounds through mine and it showed absolutely ZERO wear. The forged aluminum frame was ALMOST as light as any Glock polymer frame was, a negligible weight, and the Daewoo fit perfectly in Glock 19 holsters. The S&W 59 series contributed to the frame design so that the grip angle comfort was PERFECT for me, and the series 59 magazines were interchangeable with my Daewoo, and with the Kel-Tec P-11. Seriously, I favor this pistol over all of the newer ones on the market! I will investigate prices and dealers today!.............................elsullo

    I have overwhelming anticipation for the Lionheart Vulcan 9 coming out soon. As someone who loves a manual safety on my conceal carries, it just checks all my boxes and more. I like that the safety lever faces reverse compared to most European handguns. It seems more intuitive to me. It will come with an integrated support hand thumb rest you can shove your finger practically underneath the slide. Bobbed flush hammer will be a plus. I can see how much thought went into modern pistol techniques and demands. I can see how in the future, I wouldn't gift someone I love with a Kimber and all the fallacies of a 1911. I'd get em a Lionheart.

      Before they brought everything in-house, we were seeing prices in the $1500-1600 range. Those same guns are going for $999. So I'd say that's a significant improvement! The days when you can get a quality all-metal 9mm made in America for $650 are probably gone.

    Nope just checked and they’re still way way way overpriced for a person of average means I’m sorry but 1200 bucks is getting to within colt Python range. If I ever had to sell the Python I’m not going to have any problems getting my money back whereas the regulas is kind of a boutique gun still and it might be tougher to resell. I’m just going to back to resuming my search for a nice condition DP-51

      @@emiramick5305 again with the USP your probably going to be able to get your buy in back if you’re ever going to have to resell it. The original LH9 at 750 was a fair price for what you got with it. The whole regulas line is just price gouging in my opinion. For what your getting feature wise I don’t think it’s anywhere worth the price they’re asking. In basic terms the regulas beta is just a fancied up S&W 5900 series with a unique trigger system. For what they’re asking I could buy a Springfield SA-35 and fit a safety fast system to it and have enough money left over for a few extra mags, a holster, and a few boxes of practice ammo

    • @matthewcaughey8898
      @matthewcaughey8898 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s actually based on a South Korean service gun called the Daewoo DP-51. The DP-51 was heavily based on the S&W 5900 series. The only difference is the DA plus hammer system and if the hammer system is what you want then I suggest you buy a browning hi power clone, go to BHP spring solutions and buy their safety fast system. This will let you manually push the hammer down on an SAO gun but when you drop the safety the hammer will go back to the cocked position. And I agree I don’t see enough unique features to justify its exorbitant price tag

    NOT everyone "wants lights, lasers, chainsaws" on their gun.
    That light or laser directs the enemy/attacker right to YOU ! And under cover of darkness is a definite disadvantage!
    I'd much rather hold my flashlight 🔦 "high and to the side"! And let the bad guy shoot away from my "vital organs".
    Before lasers became a "Fad", that's the way everyone was trained. "Never hold the light right in front of your body"! Became "that's exactly where your attacker is going to aim"!
    (GOD! How that was drilled into us! I can still hear the voice of our Trainer!)
