Wile E Coyote .....well they built several million mustangs over the years.......but of the million or so.....there were very few “special” mustangs of various styles or names like Mach one, or cobra, or bull it..etc....
@@paulthesoundguy1 I've seen alot of old mustangs but I always seen the Mach 1 and thought that was such a cool car. And old man had one down the street and always had it outside of his garage to wash. Never seen a bullit or other special cars
Back in early 80s my dad drug a grabber green 70 fast back mustang out of a junkyard in Louisiana it was stripped out no rust no we're both quarters had dents in them but had original paint he ended up selling it 10 yrs later about 5 yrs ago investigating that car it was a mustang special grabber green 1of 50 and it was 1 of the ultra rare 3pd cars man we have looked for yrs to find it Crazy how much it would be worth today
The mic is fine. It's a directional mic and he needs to speak into the top of it NOT the side. The announcer was continually trying to get him to do that.
I Love the Bullitt and mostly known of all!!This car is a different entity it's provenance is racing history it was the 1st Shelby Mustang to compete in a sanctioned event and also won!!Plus including the one and only Carroll Shelby either way they're both beautiful cars and this should be another tribute to how beautiful the Mustang and Shelby partnership evolved to being the best!! Is my favorite however is the Super Snake that I believed sold for $5 million dollars twice!!
Need to provide a little more history on this one before Indy. Of course, we normal people aren't going to be able to buy this car but it would be nice to have more info. Couldn't hurt the sale price and it could get our juices flowing a little more during the bidding. History is what makes my pulse quicken.
The Bullitt Car was one right off the assembly line 390 4speed so Dana don't say it would have never happened It was a stock car yes it was modified for the movie but it never was built for the movie
Anyone who is questioning why it’s called Daddy Rabbit has no idea about the heritage of Mustang Racing. Shelby’s racing team was called The Terlingua racing team. The mascot is a rabbit. It’s strange, I know but that’s the history.
It probably won’t go for what it expected to be since the economy is unstable rn due to cornavirus the stock market has been tanking hard and this usually applies to all types of investments - cars/ art /property the car still may go for a lot but not something crazy - not many people know who ken miles is if we compare it to the bull it car which sold for 3 million it was far more iconic and recognizable and there’s only 1 of them - worst time to sell best time to buy
$3,700,000.00 ! Who has that kind of money ,just to buy a cool car? Investment? I have a few collector cars and a motorcycle. But I would have paid 500,000 for the Tommy Ivo 70 top fuel Dragster ,but that is just grabbed for 70 grand!? Well, I'm not a billionaire, and if I was ,I would have bought 4 cars today ,and not even blinked !
Bet he's not even a car guy. Hasn't got a clue. Probably memorized a press release or an owners statement of some sort. Daddy rabbit? Muss Tang? What the hell is that? Wake up Mecum, if your going to sell million dollar plus rides, don't look like a fool doing it. Put a pro on the mic, at least on the special cars. Send Elmer Fudd to report on the cars in the crapcan corral.
I like how they show the car and not auction off right then and there but let the word out so they can drive the price out of sight so only the richest of the rich can buy it
Worst time to sell best time to buy - this car will not meet the expectations they are setting to be frank the coronavirus is gonna put a damper on all auctions and to be real this will not surpass the Bullit mustang which is far more recognizable and has of an iconic status
I wanna crawl in a hole again!!!!! 1966 San Diego cal. My father had 63 ss impala. True 409 4spd. Only car ever beat him street racing. 66 shelby. So. After pleading with my mother. I would buy this for more than the bullit mustang just to spite bullit fans then buy a hemi Cuda for more money than the flying mustang just to spite Mustang fans. 🔥 😝
I like watching their auctions but this is just a bunch of crap hype. “DaddyRabbit” LOL.How embarrassing is that moniker. Ol’ Dana is a used car salesman, not an automobile expert.
Rip Ken Miles
Nobody's ever gonna call that car daddy rabbit.
It’s like when you give yourself a nickname and nobody acknowledges it.
S0uthp4w68 I hashtaged it lol
Look it’s Daddy Rabbit!! Gee is this the second Volkswagen Rabbit to be made. Nice, I bet it hops pretty good.
From what I read, the rsbbit was the shelby racing team mascot

Daddy Rabbit? Is he on coke?
Frankie Hamilton, Geritol and Viagra
The Terlingua racing team (Carroll Shelby’s racing team) mascot is a rabbit.
Speed? I'm also the 50th like!
@MustangMedicPromotion plan to be there in May 2020
If Miles hadn't died.. him n shelby would have had made the best racing team that'd ruled every race in the world.. what it would had been..??

TJ JR every time he said it it bothered me 😂😂

Wow! Driven by the Triple Crown Winner, Ken Miles.
This needs to be addressed now!
Almost triple crown if he didnt slow down for the picture
@@icedclappedu2228 he was made to slow down, that was what was fucked up.

Interesting.
It's a directional mic big fella. You have to speak into the top NOT the side of it. Poor announcer was continually trying to get him to do that.
I really like that mus-Tang. It is su-Per coo-L
So what did it sell for. 1 million?
To be sold in May. Revisit the video. They mention that.
It’s probably going to go for a few million, this is not just any gt350R it was driven by a legend

$3.85 Million.
The sound 👌
Look it’s Daddy Rabbit!! Gee is this the second Volkswagen Rabbit to be made. Nice, I bet it hops pretty good.
Didn’t even know this existed...
Damn, I would buy this car for any price
Daddy rabbit? Daddy Mecum smoking green rabbit weed...
Daddy Rabbit? Okay I guess......Did the 5 in the GT350 rocker stripe look a little "off"?.....Maybe it's just me.
Such a sick car love it!!
What rubbish, Daddy Rabbit - you are quite mad...
Shelby's racing teams mascot was a rabbit I believe.
It’s not an “R MODEL” that never existed . Shelby and the makers of this car have said it . This is a “competition” model.
Gt350 competition model .
Mic fail
The rear wheel gap is horrendous. The rest of the car is fabulous!
Made to go. Not made to show.
What do you drive? The daddy rabbit Mustang!!
Sorry, but Daddy rabbit is a awful name for such a legendary car.. how about the Ken miles mustang..
Or just call it the Flying Mustang. The nickname it actually got in the first place.
The flying Mustang/Daddy Rabbit. Ah Dana, Rabbits don’t fly you know.

They should put that in a damn museum, not sell it to some random person

wonder who owns serial #1, if this is #2 its still not the greatest like they made it sound.
Interestingly, the first 65 GT350 is #003 and not #001! There was a mixup when they attached the vin tags to the cars and 1 and 3 got swapped!

This one is called "Flying Mustang" because of the famed photo taken while it was mid air when it was racing back then.
"Daddy Rabbit"? Oh ok let me bid 10 bucks

None of those old cars should bring 5 million. It's ridiculous. History is important, and vintage is cool, but these people are ruining the hobby.
