“I hope you found this interesting.”
Dude, you have no idea how much this is all helping me get my studying together. I’m prepping for a myriad of IT certs this year and have desperately needed a better way to study.
Seeing your process has shown me that I’ve been going-about things all wrong and not properly leveraging the tool right in front of me everyday to get far more done in managing all the information I’m cramming into my head.
    Thank you. Seriously, thank you.

I've been using the paid version of Raindrop for years now but never thought about adding Twitter links and embeds. Thanks for that. It's also useful to the app with Obsidian, but I hope the developers get the iOS app done so that links can be dropped directly into it. I do most of my reading on my devices, so iOS Obsidian is something I would pay for.

A new follower of your videos and I am finding them very useful! I am trying out this workflow (using Raindrop for the first time), and so far I am really liking it better than the numerous other resource managing workflows I have tried out. One question: where do you store resources that are not immediate articles/videos you want to consume? For instance, I find an online course that you want to keep coming back to as a constant reference on a particular topic. So something that cannot be fully in an inbox, reading or read category.

Well explanied! Cheers. And a question please - how come you didn't try implementing Evernote as the pipline source? The free account still let you use evernote's clipper, which is even more capable than Raindrop's. A dynamic article clipper, embedded youtube videos, adding tags folder and notes, available everywhere and already battle-trusted for years. Raindrop is great, but who knows for how long?
Can your setup work with an Evernote integration as well? 🙏

Thank you for sharing your workflow, this has been helpful - I have been using Raindrop for the past few weeks and I have been loving it - I think it will be the best solution for me after researching a number of tools to sort my workflow and I believe I will be utilizing it in a similar way -- where it will act as my inbox and I can maximize the content I love.
Do you think Raindrop really holds unlimited links? I am thinking it will bog down/ cap out? And how does the page feature work where it saves a copy of the page? Does that include the images? I am considering to buy it if I no longer have to save screenshots in fear I will lose my inspo.
I am a designer/ developer so I save a ton of stuff for inspiration and while I am on the go so having a cross device tool is key. I also love the ability to tag - I think this will help reduce any redundant content I have saved, and I am usually inspired by a photo for more than one reason so having it tucked away in folders can create duplication. I like that with this tool I can tag on the go or leave things in my inbox when I haven't had opportunity to sort. I actually broke my instagram bookmarks back in January because of how much I have saved - I can't access the collections only all the bookmarks in a hacky way so it's been a nightmare to digest which is what led me down a rabbit hole.
I also tend to save things on links on my desktop, email, browser bookmarks, notes and within the native apps themselves and then screenshots as well so I have been thinking I need one central place to store anything I have "cherry picked". I am thinking to move literally everything into here (Pinterest account) that I save but I am scared I will break this too. Thoughts anyone?!
(NOTE: I do plan to delete, merge and reduce the amount of digital media I am hoarding 😭).

Hi Bryan, just found about Obsidian, coming from Evernote, Trello.. and lately Notion.
Looking for a collection tool. Found Raindrop and checking yt videos to better learn the features. Im convinced and will give it a try.
Anyway, just wanna give you a big thumbs up for that system of yours:
(C collection) send to inbox with tag 0
(O Organize) move out of inbox, change tag 0 to 1, add tags
    One small comment tho.
I agree with the firehose, but on the otherhand, my RSS feed app (Feedly) has a huge unread count. This means I want to automatize all the info sources into one inbox, like mailbrew or readwise... but i prefer to curate (handpick) my articles.. so more in a bookmarking fashion. Hopefully I can achieve something similar with Raindrop. Nevertheless, I am considering to also create a "FireHose Inbox" that would become my only daily digest.. all the interesting ones I could then move to 0 (to dive deeper later) or consume it right away and organize it - moving it to 1.
I also avoid paying $5 for every new hyped service (readwise, etc), so I try to stick to FOSS apps that respect our privacy.
