This was the first ever Mario game I owned, and it holds a special place in my heart. Seeing corruptions and glitches done with it is so fun, cuz people often skip over it! Hope you do more!
anyone wondering what causes the noise from gba corruptions? the easy way to explain most cases is that the routine that handles sound gets frozen in the "keep reading audio" state, and starts reading directly from the rom, ram, visual, or sram data. depending on when the game crashes, youll end up looping over different parts of memory, sometimes while executing instructions that edit the game data on the fly, or empty/fill the registers with garbage data, usually resulting in: changing the resulting noise, breaking graphics further, or (rarely) returning to a valid gamestate (not exhaustive). ty as always for the content, igor !!
I discovered a crash with Reznor. You'll need a Cape and an item in your inventory, if you run and spin jump into their fireball at the right angle, you'll lose power up and saved item will fall out and the game will freeze or crash depending where you play it. I only tested this with emulators.
Bro i almost lost my hears i was wearing headphones and i skip the warming because i wanted to check this quick than god the video stopped before the corruption part I was saved
Don't ask me what happened at the end of this video 😨
@@KICKING_ZEONIC_BALLZ It's really weird lmao 😅
Sounds like...the music speed-up function from the low time warning repeatedly activating, just in quick succession? o_O
@@4matsy Idk 😆
@@IgorOliveira666maybe we should try more gba games? Like SMA1 or SMA3 (or some other non-Mario game like fire emblem)
atari race game 😂
Oh boy, always wanted to see playing the GBA version of SMW!
Can't wait to see the chaos😊
Ha yes, I have some plans for GBA's SMW. As incredible as it may seem, I only discovered that there was an SMW for the GBA this year 😅
2:21 "Oh! Mama Mia!" Mario says as he *breaks the fabric of reality*

I will definitely do more! I discovered this version of GBA a short time ago, but I already liked it a lot
@@IgorOliveira666 Great!
0:14 POV: you stubbed your toe
0:57 Mario be cooking da beans
0:14 i remember that! if u have gba you just eject gba cartdrige when console is on 😂
NO WAY YOU DID THAT!!! I really love GBA version of the game! Can't wait to see it...
2:20 R.I.P Iggy Koopa and Mario
Immagine you do this in real hardware and pull out the cartridge.
😆
I can do that 😈
I did that
🔥🔥🔥
I have done that multiple times as a kid to my SMW advance cartridge, but doing that ultimately resulted in me not being able to save my progress...
I think the PCM samples freaked out. The console protects memory by making these noises.🤣
It tries to anyway lol 😂
GBA crashes are way too scary for a 2000’s kid to see. They’d be up all night, man.
Yeah, I’ll stick to SNES crashes, thank you.
Agreed 😆
Yup, these crashes are trying to scrape out my brains through my ears with a sharp, rusty coat hanger. lol
2:21 oh!!! mama!!! mía!!!
This was great, and yes the GBA crashes are actually louder than the original SMW, but that was cool👍
GBA games have no chill when they crash.
i remember when i watched gba corruptions in 2016 and 2017 i would mute the audio because i was scared of the random sounds
😆😆😆
Wow, that scenes and sounds seems "marioworld" creepypasta.

Some yes, others nop

Oh hey! You're TASing the GBA release! Nice! I'm the one that asked about this a while back on your Tiktok
Oh, yeah, I don't check out Tik Tok a lot, but yes, I'm planning some projects on GBA's SMW
Lol ok what the hell was that supposed to be a crash right 😂👍

i love how when the game crashes mario is replaced with an x lol
it reminds me of super mario maker's failure points in course world
Damn those crashes are loud 😮
Do more of those 😂
