Seems my DNS provider is still down (they created a swimming pool in their computing centre). For the time being you can reach the server directly: 92.205.106.63 (you have to ignore the SSL warning) to download DrivenByMoss.
Just got the P1-m, things were a little buggy but then I realized I hadn't update my DbM extension in a while. Thankful as always for your hard work! Will keep you posted on any issues I find!
Just ordered the P1Nano. Curious if I will be able to use the Drivenbymoss to set up Device Mode and control devices in bitwig, and if the parameter names will be displayed on the display. Always grateful for all your work my friend.
Really cool support for the Icon V1-M with Bitwig. Are there plans to develop such support for other DAW's (Cubase, Ableton Live). Because the features like TrackColors, MasterMeter, second Display etc. are not supported in this DAW's
I really wish that they would send you the rest of their controllers, and pay you for the support. I have the P1-Nano. Running it in the MCU PRO mode works, but the encoder speed is glacial at default, and there's no way to modify it, so controlling device parameters is frustrating at best. Your script fixed the problem, so thank you. I only wish that it supported track color in the single LCD display. (edited for clarity)
@@williamshaneblyth there is, but that isn't the problem. Actually, Jurgen resolved the problem for me, and if you use Bitwig and his script, you should be find. Just make sure you provide the unit with enough power (don't relay on USB alone) otherwise, it will randomly lock up (don't ask how I know, ...and yes, that user error - I'm the problem)
I saw that you changed the Macie mapping for the master fader meter. how id you do this? I can get mine to work. I was able to map the master fader using the master/assign function but the meter still doesn’t work. Thanks
Interesting idea! Not like on a Push or Launchpad but you could assign any of the available keyboard commands which are available in Bitwig to it (e.g. launch slot X or launch scene). The encoder can be used like cursor keys but that's not very practical.
Hello Jurgen, great work with this script, I'm trying it out with the p1-m and p1-x controller on Bitwig, color coding works better than Bitwig one's, but sends per track view and device navigation seems to don't quite work properly. Also, I can't figure out how to switch the position of the controller, right now the main unit stays on the left even if I switch the position in the settings noting changes.
I know that they have some issues and iCON is working on them. Die not check if an update was released yet. Position: when selecting the MIDI in-/outputs you need to have the ones on the left first.
@@mossgraber Thanks for your answer ! I tried to select as first midi in the p1-x and the p1-m as second but in that case the touchpad and transport controls stop working, except for the jog wheel. Do you know why that's happening ?
@@mossgraber i gave it another try, i don't know what i was doing wrong before but EVERYTHING WORKS fine now, thanks for your job! There's only one thing i can't explain my self, the "track" button switches between trackview and the sends available for the selected track, while "send" button show only the first send available for each track. May imap configuration be responsable for that ? Right now i'm using the bitwig associated imap profile.
Thank you for posting about the P1-M's issues. After shopping around, the P1-M would be my preferred upgrade CS for Reaper. But many of the reviews say it's a piece buggy crap. How is yours behaving with DrivenbyMoss scripting, now that you have some hands-on? BTW, just watched a YT setup video (Icon Pro Audio channel?) for the P1-M + P1-X (or was it the Behringer?🤔). The configuration order needs to be set by holding down during power on, then a channel key to indicate the order of each device's channels. RTFM 😎
Hey there! Is your site down?...... Aha, now I see your message, thanks for that. But, this is kinda strange. DNS down? Never heard of, What provider is THAT?!
@@mossgraber I got it, YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB!! I love it. I'm enjoying it with Bitwig, however I'm having a problem using it with the X1 which is the extender. Using Mac Sonoma. The extender simply duplicates the main unit. When I try to use the MCU + extender function the main unit does not work. Any ideas?

Should work fine but since I cannot test it, I'd like to hear back from you!
I downloaded the Bitwig scrip today everyone and I must say it is amazing. Jurgen did an amazing job!
Nice! please do the new Nektar controller next :D
Nektar are one of the few companies who support Bitwig themselves.

Not from my side. You have to ask iCON about it.
@@mossgraber Do you know how to access the touch sensitivity father

@@SrOrtegon Not sure what you mean. How fast touch is activated when you get close to a fader? Don't think that there is such a setting.

I just ordered the nano p1 . Encoder too touchy you say my brain immediately thought is there room for physically bigger knobs to swap out?

This is a proprietary extension of the MCU protocol from iCON which I did implement for DrivenByMoss.
Are the screen-soft buttons in the upper right, able to become clip launchers? If so, would the jog wheel navigation update the position of the grid?

All of the displays are coded native for Bitwig? A lot of the features you’re showing aren’t available in say Studio one
Yes, that's correct.

Works on Windows, macOS and Linux. Download link is in the video description.
