- Pen Y Pass is situated at the high point of the Llanberis Pass at an elevation of 1178 Feet, It is about a third of the height of Snowdon.
The road was built in the 1830s to allow ore from the mines on Snowdon to be transported to Llanberis.
Good evening this was very dramatic. It looked like something from Lord of the Rings. Isnt it an absolutely amazing area. A big 👍 from us for some amazing footage. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
